Udne Ki Aasha 18th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Anya approaching Sachin, asking him what Sayali had told him. Sachin dismisses it, claiming she’s making up stories. Sayali stands nearby, quietly observing. Sachin then asks if Sayali is doing okay, which makes Sayali smile upon hearing his concern.
Meanwhile, Roshni and Tejas are having dinner together as Renu serves them. Roshni notices Tejas looking tired and offers to make more parathas, leaving the room. Renu takes this opportunity to confront Tejas, pointing out that Roshni thinks he’s exhausted from working when in reality, he spends his days sleeping. She insists that he needs to find a job and asks how long they’re going to hide the truth from her. She reveals that Sayali saw him at a restaurant and told Sachin, who is now determined to expose him and throw him out. Tejas brushes off her concern, telling her to forget about it and that they’ll figure it out. Renu then calls Paresh for dinner, but he refuses, saying he’ll wait for Sachin and Sayali to return. Renu tries to calm him, urging him to forget about the issue for now.
Sachin finally arrives home, answering Paresh’s call, and says he’s already there. Paresh summons him, and despite Sachin’s reluctance, he comes inside. However, he covers his mouth, clearly drunk. Paresh notices and asks what’s going on. Renu quickly explains that Sachin has been drinking. Sachin, visibly emotional, begins to cry, lamenting that Paresh lost his dignity because of Akash. He admits to having gone to the hotel and getting into a fight with Akash. Paresh, frustrated, asks if he hit him again, and Sachin confirms.
Renu interjects, sarcastically suggesting that he go beat his wife instead of Akash. Sachin, appalled, reminds her that Aaji always taught him never to raise a hand against a woman. He admits to having shouted at Sayali earlier when she came to speak to him, and forced her to leave. Paresh, surprised, asks for more details. Sachin, still drunk, calls Sayali “the Shakuni” of the family. Paresh, feeling overwhelmed, tells Sachin that it’s all too much and that drinking won’t solve anything. He clutches his chest, clearly in pain, while Renu blames Sayali for the family’s downfall.
Roshni, who had initially thought well of Sayali, now feels betrayed, agreeing with Renu’s harsh words. Renu goes on, blaming Sayali for bringing shame to the family. She expresses her embarrassment, explaining that she can’t even leave the house because everyone in the neighborhood is gossiping about Akash and Paresh. Sachin, in his drunken state, offers to go beat them all up. Renu dismisses his bravado, saying that the whole locality is talking, and there’s no one person to confront.
Tejas tries to shift the blame onto Akash, but Sachin fires back, accusing Tejas of being the root of all their problems. He points out that it was Tejas who ran away from the mandap, starting the cascade of issues. Sachin accuses him of having humiliated their father first, paving the way for Akash to do the same. Sachin, overcome with emotion, starts crying, lamenting that Paresh is a good man but has been cursed with two terrible sons.
Roshni steps in, sarcastically questioning Sachin’s claim of being the “good son.” She points out that he’s drunk and is also disrespecting Paresh. Sachin snaps back, blaming Tejas once more. Roshni defends Tejas, insisting Sachin can’t keep placing all the blame on him. Paresh, trying to mediate, asks them to stop arguing. But Sachin, in his drunken rage, warns Roshni not to interfere.
Roshni, upset, tells Sachin he should be ashamed for coming home drunk. Sachin angrily tells her to stay within her limits. Tejas steps in, telling Sachin he has no right to talk to Roshni that way. Tensions escalate quickly, and the two brothers start fighting. Paresh tries to intervene, begging them to stop. Sachin, furious, goes to slap Tejas, but Tejas moves back, and Roshni ends up getting slapped instead.
Tejas, enraged, asks Sachin how he dared to hit Roshni. The fight intensifies as they push each other around, causing Paresh to collapse from the stress. Everyone rushes to help him, realizing that he’s unconscious. Sachin, panicking, pleads with Paresh to wake up. Roshni, thinking fast, insists they take Paresh to the hospital immediately. Meanwhile, Sayali wakes up in a panic from her sleep, feeling uneasy. Shubha, sensing her distress, tries to comfort her.
At the hospital, Paresh is treated in the ICU. The family anxiously waits for news, and the doctor finally comes out, explaining that Paresh suffered a heart attack. They inform the family that further tests are needed, but his condition is serious, and his life is at risk.
