Kundali Bhagya 17th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Shanaya arriving at the party, feeling uneasy and tense. Preeta notices her walking in. Shanaya wonders why she’s experiencing such a strange feeling. Normally, people feel good after meeting their fiancé, but after meeting Shaurya, she’s feeling anxious. She can’t understand why she feels like something bad is about to happen, especially when she hasn’t done anything wrong. Kritika walks up to Shanaya, noticing her standing alone and looking stressed. Kritika asks if she’s okay and guesses that her nephew Shaurya must have said something to upset her. Kritika explains that although Shaurya may be stupid, he’s kind at heart, and it just takes him some time to let his guard down. She reassures Shanaya that if Shaurya irritates her, there’s no need to worry because the Luthra family is there to support her. Just then, Kritika spots Shaurya entering the party and points him out to Shanaya.
Shaurya greets everyone and draws attention to Shanaya, taking her hand as she hesitantly gives it to him. Daljeet smiles. Shaurya leads Shanaya to the center of the room and tells everyone that they all know he is going to marry Shanaya soon. However, there’s something about her that they might not know. Everyone looks concerned. Bi Jee asks Daljeet what Shaurya could be talking about, and Daljeet hints that something is going on between them. Bi Jee says that’s why they’re getting married, but Daljeet insists something feels off. Shaurya starts praising Shanaya’s qualities, saying that as her mother, Daljeet must know them already. Daljeet agrees, saying she sees Shanaya through a mother’s eyes, but Shaurya, as a fiancé, must have his own perspective. Shaurya describes Shanaya as a simple girl with a good heart, always greeting him first with a cute smile, and not even noticing anyone else. Bani Dadi signals Palki to stand by her, and Palki complies.
Nidhi observes Shaurya showering praise on Shanaya, confused because she had asked him to take care of a problem, not praise her as though he’s in love. Shaurya turns to his family and explains that they all know the real him, which is why he’s transparent with them, but Shanaya has been gracious despite his mistakes. Kritika teases him, asking why he’s already calling Shanaya his wife, which makes everyone smile. Shaurya admits that Shanaya has reasons to complain about him, given his arrogance and mistakes, but she’s always been graceful and understanding. The family starts clapping, and Shaurya thanks Shanaya again for her constant support. He kneels and asks her for a dance, impressing even Karan.
Meanwhile, Garesh walks by and notices the doors to a room open, with boxes lying on the floor. Realizing they contain CCTV cameras, he wonders why they were left there and where they’ve been installed. Garesh decides to ask Mahesh or Karan if they know about it.
On the dance floor, Shaurya and Shanaya begin a couple’s dance. Everyone watches, mesmerized, as Shanaya smiles and enjoys dancing with Shaurya, her fiancé. However, Shaurya starts imagining Palki instead of Shanaya while dancing and becomes fixated on her. He even lifts Shanaya into the air, thinking it’s Palki. When he realizes it’s Shanaya, he finishes the dance but continues glancing at Palki. As the dance ends, the family claps for them both. Karina hugs Shaurya, while Palki hugs Shanaya. Shaurya excuses himself, saying he’ll be back soon, and Sunny follows him. Kritika asks Shanaya if her nephew can now be absolved of the accusation that he doesn’t love her. Shanaya smiles, and Kritika hugs her. Daljeet joins in, and Palki prays that her sister continues to smile this way.
Daljeet tells Bi Jee how impressed she is with Shaurya’s praises for Shanaya. She confesses that she once wondered why they were getting married, but now she’s sure Shaurya loves Shanaya. Bi Jee, however, isn’t convinced. She remarks that Shaurya’s sudden shift in behavior is suspicious, as he never treated Shanaya this nicely before. Bi Jee thinks Shaurya might be up to something. Daljeet tries to dismiss her concerns, but Bi Jee insists that such sudden changes in people are often a sign of trouble. Meanwhile, Palki overhears their conversation and finds herself agreeing with Bi Jee. She notices Shaurya talking with Sunny on the balcony and starts feeling uneasy.
Shaurya sees Palki watching him but she quickly looks away. She then starts searching for him, and Shaurya suddenly appears, asking if she has any questions for him. Palki denies it and walks away quickly, with both Shaurya and Sunny watching her leave.
Elsewhere, Rajveer agrees with Mohit, saying he doesn’t trust Shaurya one bit, despite being his brother. Mohit playfully asks if Rajveer would be fine if Shaurya weren’t in his life. Rajveer brushes it off and jokes with Mohit, saying he wouldn’t be able to manage without him, calling Mohit his brother. The two share a light moment and hug.
Karan, walking with Mahesh, observes Rajveer and Mohit enjoying themselves and smiles. He tells Mahesh that he’s glad to see both his sons settling down. Mahesh agrees, noting that when children mature, it brings happiness to their parents. He prays that the family’s happiness stays intact. Karan confidently says it will.
Meanwhile, Preeta is walking when Nidhi stops her, asking what she truly wants. Preeta, taken aback, asks what she means. Nidhi accuses her of trying to get closer to Karan, saying she knows Preeta wore the saree Karan picked out to impress him. Preeta calmly responds that she liked the saree herself and that Nidhi should stop overthinking. But Nidhi continues to accuse her of trying to snatch Karan away. Preeta, now frustrated, warns Nidhi not to make baseless accusations. She explains that she cares for her family and has no interest in taking what belongs to Nidhi. Nidhi, still fuming, threatens Preeta, who firmly responds that she won’t stay silent if her character is questioned again.
Nidhi enters the party, still upset. Karina notices and asks what’s going on. Nidhi vents about her frustration with Preeta, saying she feels like throwing her out. Karina advises Nidhi to stay calm and not let Preeta get to her. She suggests that Nidhi should show Preeta how strong her relationship with Karan is by dancing with him in front of her. Nidhi agrees and vows to prove to everyone that she and Karan are a perfect couple. Karina smiles as Nidhi leaves to execute her plan.
Preeta, unaware of Nidhi’s scheme, is speaking with the pandit. Nidhi, determined to steal the spotlight, asks for everyone’s attention. She announces that since today is Shaurya’s engagement, she’s planning a special performance to keep things lively. Shaurya, hearing this, smiles to himself, thinking that things are about to get interesting and unexpected.
