Parineeti 17th September 2024 Written Update
Neeti asks Pami, “Why do you look so upset?” Pami sighs and says, “How can a mother be happy when her son is behind bars? Even though he deserves it, my heart still hurts. He was about to ruin the life of an innocent girl.” Neeti replies, “There’s not much we can do about it now.”
Meanwhile, Pari wakes up with a cold and thinks, “I should make some tea.” She recalls that Rajiv might have caught a cold too. At the same time, Rajiv sneezes, and Pami comments, “If Pari were here, she would’ve made you tea.” Sanju adds, “We never had to take medicine when Pari was around; she always had a remedy.” Just then, Pari calls Pami and says, “My mom taught me how to make tea that helps with colds.” Pami, a bit puzzled, asks, “Why are you telling me this?” Pari replies, “I caught a cold from the rain, just like you might have. I thought you’d want the recipe.” Pami listens, and after hearing it, she invites Pari to their house for the Ganpati pooja the next day. “Please come,” Pami insists. Pari agrees, and Pami tells Sanju, “Pari gave me the recipe. I’ll make the tea for you.”
The Ganpati pooja begins, with Sanju and Vikram bringing in the idol. Pari and Dai Maa arrive as well. Pami warmly welcomes them and says, “Your tea healed Sanju completely.” She subtly places Pari next to Sanju. As the pandit announces the start of the aarti, he says the married DIL of the house should lead. Neeti steps forward, but Pari stops her, saying, “But you’re not the married DIL of this house. You can’t do this aarti.” Instead, she turns to Pami and says, “You’re the rightful DIL; you should lead the aarti.” Pami, slightly taken aback but pleased, steps forward to do the aarti. She then reassures Pari, “You will regain your lost respect in this house soon.” Babli and Gurpreet also perform the pooja together.
During the aarti, Sanju holds Pari’s hand, guiding her, and they perform the aarti together. Neeti, watching them, grows increasingly angry.
Afterward, Vikram performs the aarti with Neeti. In her frustration, Neeti mutters, “I won’t let Sanju slip away to Pari.” Later, Pami asks Neeti about the prasad, to which Neeti sarcastically replies, “You’re the DIL of this house, right? You should know.” When Neeti tries to order Babli around, Babli ignores her, further irritating Neeti. Meanwhile, Gurinder and Salojna gossip, whispering that Neeti is losing her standing in the house.
Sanju approaches Pari to thank her. “Thank you for coming,” he says, “and for sharing the tea recipe. I feel so much better now.” Pari smiles softly and replies, “My mom made it for me; she taught me well. I’m glad you’re feeling better.” Sanju, touched by her care, says, “I’m glad you still care about me.”
