Suman Indori

Suman Indori 17th September 2024 Written Episode

The Episode starts with Gajendra telling Chandrakant that nothing is hidden from him, and that Teerth, instead of protecting his daughter, has ruined her reputation and landed her in the police station, all because of some Sarafa girl. Gitanjali defends Teerth, saying her son did the right thing. Gajendra, however, remains furious, saying that if Gitanjali truly believes her son is right, then the matter ends here. He adds that he didn’t expect this from her. Devika intervenes, calling out to her father, but Gajendra continues, stating that this is her in-laws’ house, and he’s only being lenient because of that. He calls Teerth and the entire Mittal family cheap people. Gajendra continues that although Teerth is the younger brother of Guru, her dewar, and a Mittal, he has decided not to forgive him this time. He warns Teerth that he will face his wrath and lose all his political influence. Devika pleads with her father to calm down, reminding him that both families will suffer if he escalates the situation, and tells him how much Kritika loves Teerth. Chandrakant tries to mediate, reminding Gajendra of their long-standing relationship, but Gajendra retorts that it now depends on him. He ominously adds that the time has come to take a crucial step. Gitanjali notices Gajendra, Kritika, and Devika exchanging glances.

Meanwhile, Suman tells Teerth that she will expose him in front of her brother once she returns his money, vowing that it’s a promise from “daku indori” herself. Rishi, confused, asks what she means. Teerth tries to brush it off, saying that Suman was only talking about returning the money with interest. As Suman walks away, Teerth wonders aloud how she plans to repay the amount. Rishi replies that Suman always finds a way.

At the Mittal house, Gitanjali calls Teerth, urging him to come home immediately. Teerth assures her he’s on his way, but Gitanjali insists he comes right away and abruptly ends the call. Akhil comments that Teerth’s political career is over. His sister chimes in, questioning Teerth’s class, adding that their uncle is going to ruin him. Gitanjali, deep in thought, worries about the chaos Devika is about to cause. Devika overhears and cryptically says, “The trouble has already begun.”

Teerth arrives home, muttering to himself that the situation is about to explode, comparing himself to a snack ready to be fried in hot oil. As soon as he arrives, Chandrakant slaps him, reprimanding him for attempting to jail his future daughter-in-law. Gitanjali tries to de-escalate the situation, defending Teerth by saying he respects his elders, but Chandrakant sternly tells Teerth that the only way to rectify the situation is to marry Kritika at the earliest possible date. Suman, on the other hand, is at home, crying in front of her father’s picture. She reflects on Bhumi calling her a failure and vows to prove otherwise.

Teerth hesitates, asking why the marriage must happen so soon. Gajendra, still enraged, reminds him that he should have thought about that before damaging his daughter’s reputation. He insists the engagement and wedding must proceed immediately. Teerth, looking for a way out, tries to delay, but Chandrakant firmly says they cannot go against Gajendra’s wishes after everything that’s happened. Teerth feels cornered and wonders why everyone is pressuring him into this marriage. Gitanjali pleads with Chandrakant to reconsider, saying they need more time. But Chandrakant knows Gajendra’s temper, warning that if Gajendra snaps, it will ruin them all. Reluctantly, Teerth asks for some time to think things over, but Gajendra ominously responds that he, too, must decide whether or not to proceed with the marriage, calling Kritika a diamond deserving of better than Teerth.

Suman, trying to figure out how to return the money, hears a cat outside her door. Gajendra continues berating Teerth, telling him that he doesn’t deserve to stand next to his daughter, all for the sake of securing a political ticket. Gitanjali intervenes again, saying marriage is not something to be forced, but Gajendra, unyielding, vows to uncover the truth behind Teerth’s connection with the Sarafa girl.

Later, Suman encounters a man and his daughter, Choti, who had been searching for their cat. The man praises Suman’s chaat and offers to pay her for her food, but Suman, ever charitable, refuses. Malini chastises Suman for giving away food for free, but Suman brushes her off, getting an idea to expand her chaat business to new locations.

Back at the Mittal household, Gajendra confronts Teerth about his connection to Suman. Teerth admits that the Chief Minister had hinted that aligning with Suman would increase his chances of getting a political ticket. Furious, Gajendra declares that Teerth will never get a ticket now, saying even the CM won’t dare defy him. Gitanjali, frustrated, protests, but Gajendra dismisses her. Chandrakant tries to mediate, but Teerth realizes he has no choice but to agree to the marriage.

In another part of the house, Devika tells Kritika that she’s successfully trapped Teerth into marrying her, all thanks to Suman. Gitanjali, overhearing, tries to convince Teerth not to go through with it, but Teerth stands firm, saying he will go through with the marriage. Devika, listening in, smiles victoriously. Meanwhile, Suman, sketching out her plans for her chaat business, dismisses Rishi’s teasing as she considers her next steps.

Later, Gitanjali continues to question Teerth’s decision to marry without love or true companionship, asking if he’s really ready to marry Kritika just for the sake of appearances. Suman, thinking aloud, muses that she will only marry someone who understands her inner beauty, values, and dreams. Hema teasingly asks if that means she’ll never marry if she doesn’t find such a man.
