Yeh Hai Chahatein 17th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The Episode begins with Kashvi demanding Pradyuman reveal where Karun is and to let him go. She tells him that they want to see him safe. Pradyuman refuses and says he will first ensure Neelam’s safety before discussing Karun. He asserts that this time, he holds the upper hand, and demands Kashvi send Neelam inside. Reluctantly, Kashvi instructs Neelam to go in. Neelam smiles and walks away. Kashvi quickly tells Arjun they need to act fast once Neelam enters the house. As Neelam leaves the door slightly open, Arjun volunteers to go inside, convinced Karun is hidden there. However, Kashvi spots a laser light at the door, realizing Pradyuman has set an alarm. She stops Arjun, warning him that triggering the alarm would alert Pradyuman. Arjun agrees, acknowledging Pradyuman’s cunning nature.
Inside, Neelam calls for Pradyuman. He rushes to her, relieved, and admits he thought he lost her in the blast. He reveals he kidnapped Karun in retaliation and promises to proceed with his plans now that Neelam is safe. Pradyuman calls Kashvi, mocking her for trying to outsmart him. He explains that he saw Arjun’s attempt through the CCTV and is glad Kashvi stopped him. He boasts about having activated bombs in the house, threatening that anyone entering, including Karun, will perish. Kashvi pleads with him to be reasonable, pointing out that he can’t stay in the house forever, as the police will catch him once he steps out. Pradyuman dismisses her concerns, stating that he’s always one step ahead, and tells her to collect Karun from Arjun’s house. He then ends the call. Neelam asks if Pradyuman truly intends to return Karun. Pradyuman laughs, revealing his plan to deceive them, as Karun is still in the basement. He hands Neelam a drink, smiling at his trickery.
Meanwhile, Meera expresses doubt, suspecting Pradyuman’s instructions may be a trap. Kashvi, however, insists they check Arjun’s house to be sure. They return home, but after a thorough search, Karun is nowhere to be found. Frustrated, Kashvi blames herself for the situation, but Arjun reassures her that she’s doing her best. Determined, Kashvi decides to call Pradyuman again, intending to make him believe they are in trouble, so he lets his guard down. Arjun encourages her to go ahead with the plan.
Inside the house, Neelam compliments Pradyuman on his cleverness, wondering how they will escape if bombs are rigged in the house. Pradyuman explains that a secret tunnel under the house leads to the road, where they can flee unnoticed. He smirks, adding that Kashvi’s attempt to fake Neelam’s death only pushed him further into action. As Kashvi calls Pradyuman, Neelam alerts him. He picks up, and Kashvi, pretending to be distressed, informs him that Karun isn’t at Bajwa’s house. Pradyuman smugly tells her that now it’s her turn to be in trouble and hangs up, feeling triumphant as he dances with Neelam.
Kashvi, seeing through Pradyuman’s game, tells Arjun and Meera that he’s clearly trying to deceive them. They quickly decide to act and head to Pradyuman’s house. Upon arriving, Kashvi peeks in and sees Pradyuman and Neelam dancing. She doubts he has placed any bombs inside, as that would endanger Neelam too. However, she warns that Pradyuman must have a backup plan, suggesting they search for Karun first. They sneak inside through the servants’ quarters, and after checking a room, they make their way to the basement. Arjun and Meera discover the basement door open and call out for Karun, who responds. Arjun quickly breaks the lock, and Karun rushes to hug him, asking where Kashvi is. Arjun reassures him that she is safe.
Just then, Pradyuman appears, pointing a gun at them. He taunts them, asking where Kashvi is. Arjun, thinking quickly, lies, saying she went to the washroom. Pradyuman, suspicious, decides to search for her, dragging Arjun, Meera, and Karun into the hall. He warns them that they are all about to die. Kashvi steps out and confronts Pradyuman, urging him not to do anything rash. Pradyuman, however, orders Neelam to escape through the tunnel in the kitchen. As Neelam turns to leave, Pradyuman warns that once he presses the remote, the bomb will detonate, killing everyone.
But Kashvi had anticipated this. In a flashback, she recalls sneaking into the hall while Pradyuman and Neelam were dancing. She purposely knocked over a vase to distract them, allowing her to confront Neelam. Kashvi had demanded the remote, threatening to shoot Neelam if she didn’t comply. Though Neelam initially feigned ignorance, she eventually handed over the remote. Kashvi had then disabled the laser alarms.
Back in the present, Kashvi reveals that the remote in Pradyuman’s hand is fake, and she’s already deactivated the laser lights. Furious, Pradyuman attempts to shoot Kashvi, but Arjun tackles him, enraged by everything Pradyuman has done. Arjun beats him, venting his anger over Karun’s kidnapping, Kashvi’s suffering, and Meera’s emotional manipulation. He declares that Pradyuman deserves to die for all his crimes. Just as he’s about to deliver another blow, the police inspector arrives, ordering Arjun to stop.
