The episode begins with Karina complimenting Nidhi on how stunning she looks. Nidhi, though flattered, admits she would feel even better if Karan complimented her instead. Karina empathizes with Nidhi, understanding how jealous and neglected she must feel. She explains that Karan never used to treat her this way until Preeta entered their lives. Ever since Preeta’s arrival, Karan’s attitude towards her has changed. Nidhi shares her frustration, recounting how she stood in a corner during Raksha Bandhan, feeling invisible. She expresses how much she’s done for the family and her desire for Karan to recognize her worth. Karina promises to speak to Karan about Nidhi’s contributions, reminding her that she had vowed to help her before. However, she warns Nidhi not to underestimate her and advises her to stop confiding in Arohi, as it tends to get her in trouble. Karina assures Nidhi that she should trust her instead, as they’ve never been this close. If Nidhi truly wants her rightful place, Karina will help her achieve it. Karina reminds Nidhi of how she once manipulated events to have Sherlin marry Rishab instead of Preeta. Nidhi, in turn, promises to consider Karina as her mentor if she helps her with Karan. Karina reassures her that she will make sure Nidhi gets the position she deserves in the family, urging her not to worry and to join the engagement celebration downstairs.
Meanwhile, Rajveer stops Palki, asking her why she’s so upset. Palki, visibly angry, retorts that she shouldn’t have to teach him everything. When he compliments her, she brushes it off, saying she doesn’t want his flattery and asks what he’s done wrong. Rajveer, realizing she’s upset about something, teases her by asking if she’s jealous. Palki denies it but admits she’s hurt that he complimented Shanaya and not her. She clarifies that she doesn’t have any issues with Shanaya, her sister, but it still bothered her. Rajveer explains that he only complimented Shanaya because she’s Palki’s sister and that he doesn’t always express his feelings aloud but feels them deeply. Palki, still upset, tells him to leave, but Rajveer refuses, playfully asking how she’ll manage without talking to him. He then teases her, comparing her to Shanaya, which frustrates her further.
As they continue their lighthearted banter, Palki starts to soften. Rajveer pulls her closer, and they share a tender moment, locking eyes. He tells her she’s gorgeous, and Palki, smiling, warns him not to make her too proud. Though she’s still pretending to be mad, it’s clear she’s enjoying their closeness. Eventually, Palki runs off, leaving Rajveer standing there, smiling as he looks at a photo of them together.
Preeta enters the Luthra Mansion while Karan is chatting with the guests. He spots her wearing the saree he chose for her and can’t take his eyes off her. As Preeta walks toward him, Karan is captivated, recalling the moment he picked out the saree. When Preeta reaches him, Karan compliments her, saying that while the saree looks beautiful, it’s even prettier because she’s wearing it. Preeta smiles but notices Nidhi and Karina approaching. She quickly excuses herself, explaining that Nidhi doesn’t like it when they talk. Karan, confused, asks why Nidhi would have an issue with two people being friends. Determined to clear the air, Karan calls Nidhi over and asks her to confirm that she has no problem with his friendship with Preeta. Nidhi, feeling uncomfortable but trying to maintain composure, admits she does have an issue, shocking Karan. However, she quickly recovers, saying she doesn’t mind her husband having friends and leaves with Karina to meet Daljeet.
As Nidhi and Karina join Daljeet, Bani Dadi, and Bi Jee, Daljeet comments that it seems like Nidhi has a problem with Preeta. Nidhi denies it, claiming there’s sometimes a difference between what’s real and what’s perceived. Karina steps in, praising Nidhi for caring for everyone in the family, including Karan. Bani Dadi, noticing Karina’s unusual tone, questions her about it. Karina brushes it off, asking her mother to be more mindful of what she says in front of others. Nidhi, feeling uneasy, excuses herself, saying she’ll call the pandit to start the engagement ceremony.
Meanwhile, Shaurya is preparing for his plan with Sunny. They’ve set everything up for a big reveal that will be broadcast live once Rajveer and Shanaya enter the room. Shaurya is excited about the impending drama, but Shanaya walks in, interrupting them. Shaurya, irritated, snaps at her for always questioning him. Shanaya, unfazed, asks about his plans, suspecting he’s up to something. Shaurya dismisses her concerns, but after she leaves, Nidhi approaches him, worried. She’s heard from Shanaya that something’s going on and warns Shaurya to be careful. Shaurya assures her that everything is under control and they’re ready for the next phase of their plan.
Preeta, meanwhile, gets a call from Chandrikha Ji, who informs her that she won’t be able to attend the engagement but sends her blessings. They share a warm conversation, discussing their children’s successes and challenges. Preeta talks about Rajveer’s achievements as CEO of Luthra Industries and mentions how Shaurya is still childish. Chandrikha teases her, saying that boys like Shaurya will grow up in time. They end the call on a positive note, with Preeta smiling, knowing she has the support of a dear friend.
