Mera Balam Thanedaar 16th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Bulbul thanking Ganapati Bappa for her recovery. She adds that Vani is slowly getting better, and once she fully recovers, everyone will be overjoyed. Suddenly, the bhajan stops when Varnika accidentally steps on a wire. She quickly apologizes and offers to restart the music. Just then, to everyone’s surprise, Vani begins singing the bhajan. Sulakshana is taken aback and emotional as Vyom approaches Vani, asking, “Maa, why do we do puja for 10 days?” Sulakshana is concerned, but Vani lovingly touches Vyom’s face and explains, “Ganesh Ji helps us with all our problems, which is why we welcome him to our homes, to thank him for his blessings.” Vyom then asks, “Why do we do his visarjan?” Vani replies, “He returns to his mother through the water, just as my mother told me.”
Sulakshana, overwhelmed with joy, turns to Bulbul and says, “Vani remembers everything, she’s getting better!” Bulbul reassures her, saying, “Very soon, Vani will fully recover.” Sulakshana thanks Bulbul, who in turn advises her to thank Bappa for the blessings. As they bring the Ganapati idol forward, Veer joins in, thanking Bappa for Bulbul’s recovery. Sulakshana also thanks Bappa for everything, including Vani’s improvement.
At that moment, Veer receives a call from the commissioner, who informs him that everything is ready. Veer acknowledges and ends the call. Bulbul approaches him with aarti, which he takes with a smile. She then turns to Drishti and advises her to seek peace and blessings from Bappa. Drishti, with a sense of resignation, says she’s considering her own form of visarjan this time and asks Bulbul to take care of herself. Bulbul, puzzled, wonders what Drishti is planning.
At the police station, the commissioner honors Veer with a medal for apprehending Meethi Mai. Veer humbly thanks him. Dhruv, noticing Veer’s joy, remarks that Bulbul Bhabhi would be ecstatic if she were present. Veer smiles and says, “If she were here, this wouldn’t just be a felicitation, it would turn into a grand celebration with nagara beats and all!” Just then, Bulbul arrives with Vayu and a garland for Veer. She calls for the dhol players to stop and announces that she has brought the entire family along. Veer, amused, asks, “Did you leave Bappa alone?” Vayu then shows everyone on a video call, and the entire family congratulates Veer. Bulbul proudly says that her “spy network” keeps her informed about everything, including the felicitation. Veer salutes her and gives a heartfelt speech, crediting his success to Bulbul, his strength and inspiration. He adds, “I only got this medal because you saved me from a bullet.” Bulbul reassures him, saying, “I’ll always be by your side.”
Varnika, delighted by their bond, suggests a celebration in honor of the happy couple. Vayu asks her to share the plan, and Sulakshana promises to reveal it soon.
Meanwhile, Drishti visits her friend Supriya at the hospital and requests information on Bulbul, showing her some notes. Supriya agrees to get her the duplicate report for Bulbul.
Back at home, Varnika and Vani are decorating the house with flowers and making a photo collage of Veer and Bulbul. Vani expresses her displeasure with Drishti, saying she doesn’t want her around. Vayu, trying to keep the peace, suggests that Vishesh take his wife on a date to avoid any conflict.
Elsewhere, Bulbul and Veer enjoy some street food, but Veer’s uniform gets stained. Bulbul, protective of his uniform, scolds the vendor and quickly cleans the stain using salt, lemon, and soda. Veer praises her resourcefulness, and Bulbul promises that she will never let his uniform stay stained.
Later, Drishti receives the report she had been waiting for and is overjoyed. She believes she’s uncovered a significant secret about Bulbul and is convinced the family, especially Veer, will hate her once the truth is revealed.
Siddharth calls Bulbul, informing her that he’s outside her house and asking why she called him from the landline. Worried, Bulbul asks Veer to hurry back home.
At the house, Sulakshana, Vardhan, and others are waiting for Veer and Bulbul to arrive. Just then, Siddharth enters, thinking Bulbul has called him for a session. As he walks inside, Vardhan switches on a light. Vani sees Siddharth and rushes to him.
Veer and Bulbul arrive shortly after, and Bulbul remarks, “Vani always gets so happy seeing Doctor Saheb.” Drishti, however, interrupts and says, “He’s not just Vani’s doctor; he’s something else as well.” She then turns to Sulakshana, asking if she recognizes him. Bulbul tries to intervene, telling Drishti not to interfere in everything, but Drishti insists, “I am Vani’s Bhabhi, and it’s my duty to reveal the truth about this man.” She then pulls off Siddharth’s fake beard and moustache. Sulakshana is left in shock and anger at the revelation.
