Yeh Hai Chahatein 16th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Arjun, Kashvi, Karun, and Meera enjoying a game of ludo. Karun proudly exclaims, “I’ve defeated Dad!” Arjun teases, “I’ll make all three of you lose next time!” Kashvi, Meera, and Karun then start playfully hitting Arjun with pillows. Meanwhile, Pradyuman arrives at the hotel and bribes the receptionist to get Arjun’s room number, which is 102.
Back in the room, Meera tells Karun she’s tired and it’s time for bed. Karun excitedly says, “I’m sleeping with my new Mamma tonight.” Meera, smiling, tells Arjun and Kashvi that after all the challenges they’ve faced, they deserve to spend some quality time together. She encourages them to leave behind the distance and embrace their love for each other, adding, “You’ve done so much for Karun. You both love each other deeply, so enjoy tonight and start anew.” With that, Meera takes Karun and leaves the room.
Kashvi heads to freshen up, and when she returns, she sees the room beautifully decorated with flower petals and candles. “What’s all this?” she asks, smiling. Arjun replies, “A surprise for you. Tonight is the beginning of a new chapter for us. We’ve been through so much, and now it’s time to fulfill our dreams and live our ‘chahatein’ (desires).” Kashvi, touched, says, “I love the surprise.” Arjun tenderly brushes her hair and kisses her eyes, and the two share a romantic moment. Kashvi confesses, “The truth is, I couldn’t live without you. My life, my breath, my desires were incomplete without you.” She embraces him, and they draw closer.
Meanwhile, Pradyuman sneaks into Meera’s room, where Karun is sleeping. He makes Karun unconscious and takes him away, determined to seek revenge for Neelam’s supposed death. In the morning, Meera wakes up and, realizing Karun is missing, frantically searches for him. She rushes to Arjun and Kashvi’s room, worried. Arjun quickly checks the hotel but finds no trace of Karun. He informs the group that someone bribed the receptionist to find out their room number, and they all suspect Pradyuman is behind it.
As Pradyuman drives with Karun, he calls Kashvi, threatening her, “Karun will pay for Neelam’s death.” Kashvi quickly informs him that Neelam isn’t dead, explaining that it was a dummy in the car. She sends him a picture of Neelam, complete with the date and time, proving her point. Pradyuman, stunned, demands that Kashvi bring Neelam to him, warning them not to involve the police. Kashvi wants to go to the police, but Arjun stops her, fearing that Pradyuman might harm Karun if he finds out. Arjun insists they talk to Neelam and try to reason with her.
Pradyuman brings Karun to a basement and ties him to a chair. As Karun regains consciousness, he cries out for his parents, but Pradyuman silences him, warning him to stop shouting.
Meanwhile, Kashvi and Arjun confront Neelam, who angrily asks why they tied her up. She threatens that Pradyuman will kill them all if he finds out. Kashvi tells her to be quiet. Pradyuman calls Kashvi again, and Neelam, hearing his voice, tries to scream for him, but Micky covers her mouth. Pradyuman demands that they bring Neelam to him, or he will blow up Karun. He instructs them to drop Neelam outside his house and only then will he reveal Karun’s location.
They take Neelam to Pradyuman’s house, where Neelam arrogantly taunts them, claiming that Pradyuman will exact revenge on them for kidnapping her. Kashvi, frustrated, calls Pradyuman to inform him that they are ready to hand over Neelam. Pradyuman, watching them through CCTV, insists on seeing Neelam before discussing Karun. Meera expresses concern about sending Neelam alone, but Kashvi says they have no other choice. Kashvi negotiates, saying they are willing to send Neelam, but Pradyuman must send Karun in return. Pradyuman, however, refuses to release Karun until he ensures Neelam’s safety.
