Megha Barsenge 15th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Megha getting stabbed. Surinder wakes up in a panic, shouting Megha’s name. Shalini gets a call, and Arjun immediately senses something is wrong. He asks Shalini what happened. She replies, “Megha…” Without wasting any time, Arjun rushes to find her. When he sees Megha lying injured, tears well up in his eyes. He holds her hand tightly, overwhelmed with emotion. Megha slowly opens her eyes and says, “You told me to fight, so I did. I fought everyone. I believe in you, Arjun. You’ll get me out of here.” Arjun, choking back his tears, listens. Megha continues, “You can’t lose hope now. If you lose hope, how will I keep mine?”
Arjun tries to comfort her, but she interrupts, “We don’t have any official bond, but you’ve always been by my side.” He, feeling guilty, responds, “Ever since I entered your life, things have only gotten worse. I’m sorry.” Megha shakes her head and assures him, “No, it’s not your fault. Did you tell my family about this?” Arjun replies, “No, I was too scared of how you’d react.” They both manage a faint smile amidst the tension.
Megha then tells him, “Go back to India. Don’t stay here because of me.” Arjun, determined, replies, “I’m not leaving without you. We came together, and we’ll leave together.” He tries to uplift her spirits, and just then, the doctor arrives. The doctor looks at Megha and asks, “Are you here to visit the criminal?” His insensitive words make Arjun furious, but Megha stops him from reacting.
Meanwhile, at home, Ranjeeta and the others rush to Surinder’s side as he tries to get out of bed. He insists on finding Megha, but Ranjeeta urges him to rest, reminding him of his health. Still, Surinder is adamant, “Let me go.” In the scuffle, Ranjeeta falls and injures herself, causing Goldie to lash out at Surinder for his carelessness. Surinder, filled with guilt, apologizes to Ranjeeta while crying. She softens, realizing that they do need to focus on finding Megha.
Arjun speaks to the doctor about Megha’s condition, and the doctor remarks, “She’s brave. I’ve heard how she fought back. We’ll keep her under observation for a while before sending her back to her cell.”
At home, Kohli and Kavita are brought in by the constables. Ranjeeta demands to know where Megha is, but Kohli only adds to her frustration, saying they don’t know. Kohli then has the nerve to speak against Megha, insinuating she must have done something wrong. Surinder, unable to control his anger, grabs Kohli by the collar, threatening him. Ranjeeta, however, takes charge. She grabs a belt and, with fierce determination, orders Kohli to call Manoj. “Tell your son that if Megha isn’t out of jail soon, there will be consequences.”
In jail, Arjun brings *kada prasad* for Megha. She remembers his words from before, and tears fill her eyes. Arjun says softly, “We’ll get out of this mess.” He feeds her the prasad. Back at home, Goldie grabs hold of Kavita while Ranjeeta lashes out at Kohli, hitting him with the belt, demanding he do something to free Megha.
In the jail, Arjun gives Megha some water. She asks him to be honest about her case. “It’s weak, isn’t it?” she questions. Arjun admits, “Yes, they’ve done what they wanted. Manoj had his way. But now, it’s our turn. Trust me.” Megha, looking at him with unwavering faith, says, “I have this strange trust in you.” Arjun smiles, replying, “And I have this stubborn determination. You won’t stay here any longer.”
