Maati Se Bandhi Dor 14th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Vaiju completing her shoot. The director hands her a cheque, saying it’s her first payment for the ad. She thanks him and says, “I should really thank Rana and Jaya for this opportunity.” Jaya, looking troubled, tells Vaiju that she has some work at home and leaves quickly. Vaiju senses something is wrong and follows her, asking, “Are you okay?”
Jaya hesitates but admits, “I don’t know, Vaiju. I have this strange fear in my heart.” Vaiju comforts her, saying, “Those who love us can never hurt us. If you’re feeling this way, there must be a bigger reason behind it. Relationships are like mirrors—you need to step back to see them clearly.”
She reflects on her own feelings for Ranvijay and adds, “Sometimes, we expect too much from people, and when they can’t meet those expectations, we feel let down. But if you lower your expectations, your happiness will double. Trust in yourself and your relationship.”
Jaya, still unsure, says, “Maybe you’re right.” Together, they return home, only to find an ambulance waiting outside. They rush inside, where they see Sulekha dragging Rohan out.
Jaya, confused, asks, “What’s going on here?” Sulekha snaps back, “Didn’t your sister tell you? Look at these medical reports—this boy is a drug addict!” Everyone turns to Vaiju for an explanation. Vaiju admits, “Yes, I knew about it.”
Rao Sahab arrives, shocked by the scene. Jaya feels betrayed and says, “You lied to us, Vaiju! You’ve broken our trust. Rohan needs treatment, not a family.” Vaiju tries to defend herself, “He needs the support of a family more than anything right now.” Vasundara adds, “How could you make such a big decision without telling us?”
Rao Sahab steps in, “Wait, Vaiju must have had a reason for bringing him here.” Naagraj warns, “What if he brings drugs into this house? What if something terrible happens?”
Rohan pleads, “I’ve changed! I’m not that person anymore.”
Sulekha retorts, “You’re an orphan and a drug addict—how can we trust you?” The hospital staff begins dragging Rohan away. Just then, Ranvijay enters and declares, “Rohan isn’t going anywhere. He will stay here.”
Jaya, shocked, says, “But you don’t understand…”
Ranvijay cuts her off, “I know everything. Vaiju told me at the hospital. Yes, Rohan was a drug addict, but he’s changed, and it’s because of love and family. He needs our protection. Bringing him here was my decision, not just Vaiju’s. She wanted to take him to Jhumri Patan, but I stopped her because I believed this is where he belongs. I’m sorry for keeping this from you.”
Rao Sahab, impressed, tells the hospital staff to leave and says to Ranvijay, “There’s no need to apologize. You’ve grown into a sensible man. Rohan will stay here, and we’ll all take care of him.” Rohan, grateful, thanks him. Rao Sahab adds, “Don’t thank me—thank Vaiju and Rana for standing by you.”
Sulekha, seeing the situation, finally agrees that they did the right thing. Later, Ranvijay goes to his room, where Jaya confronts him, “You talk about love, respect, and trust, but all I hear are words. Your actions speak differently.”
Ranvijay, feeling hurt, tries to explain, but Jaya cuts him off, walking away to prepare for the family prayer. Vasundara notices her distress and tries to comfort her. Jaya hugs her mother-in-law, thanking her for always being there.
Meanwhile, Ranvijay, feeling lost, confides in Vaiju. “I don’t understand why Jaya and I are arguing so much lately. Something has definitely changed between us.”
Vaiju, holding her cheque, says, “I came to thank you for helping me earn this 10,000 rupees from the ad.” Ranvijay smiles, “It’s your hard work, not mine. Why don’t you deposit it in the bank?”
Vaiju hesitates, “I don’t even have a bank account.”
Ranvijay, ever supportive, replies, “Then we’ll open one for you. You’re becoming independent, and every girl should know how to manage her money.”
Vaiju smiles, feeling reassured, but adds, “Tomorrow is visarjan, and I don’t want to trouble you. Be with your family. I’ve already taken enough from you.”
Ranvijay laughs, “Do you think I pity you? There’s nothing lacking in you, Vaiju. You’re smart, capable, and determined. All I’m doing is supporting you, like anyone should. You want to be independent, and that’s something to be proud of.”
Vaiju smiles warmly, “You’re right. I’ll take your advice, and I’ll speak to Jaya with love. She’ll understand.”
Ranvijay nods, and they share a smile, both feeling hopeful for the future.
