Anupama 14th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Anupama bringing hot tea for Anuj. Anuj thanks her, reminiscing about how they used to drink tea at someone else’s stall and now it’s from their own. He reflects on their small achievements and mentions they need a highly experienced lawyer for their company, but their current financial situation is tough. Anupama suggests that instead of hiring a high-profile lawyer, they should find a young, passionate lawyer who is eager to prove themselves. She reminds Anuj of how he always supported newcomers and startups. Anuj agrees, saying the younger generation has the energy and determination to succeed. Anupama confidently states that the right opportunity could change everything for that lawyer. Anuj thanks her for the suggestion and their positive outlook.
At the Shah house, Baa complains of knee pain, while Toshu remarks that she watches TV all day. Baa counters, saying she works hard, running around after the kids. Kinjal agrees, supporting Baa. Meenu offers to write a prescription for Baa’s knee pain, showcasing her innocent charm. Kinjal notices Mahi is missing and questions the family, which causes a commotion. Toshu, growing frustrated, asks why they’re dealing with Kavya’s daughter, saying it’s unfair that they’re bearing Mahi’s expenses. Baa defends Mahi, reminding Toshu that Mahi is part of their family too, but Toshu retorts that Kavya should take care of her own daughter.
Meanwhile, Anuj and Anupama discuss their next steps. Anuj suggests seeking Sagar’s help, and Anupama agrees, adding they could even consult Bala kaka and Babuji for their wisdom and experience. Anuj shares a touching story about a security guard who risked his job to help him. Anupama listens and assures him that everything that belongs to Aadhya and him will be rightfully theirs again. As a lighthearted moment, Anupama playfully insists Anuj pay for the tea, but instead of money, she asks him to wash the cups. They laugh together, their bond stronger than ever.
Back at the Shah house, Toshu expresses his annoyance over Mahi staying with them. When he calls Kavya to ask her to take Mahi, Kavya, busy with her own matters, dismisses his concerns, leaving Toshu more agitated. Toshu criticizes Kavya’s lack of involvement in Mahi’s life, which leads to a heated discussion in the family.
Later, Anupama and Anuj prepare for Lord Ganesha’s visarjan (immersion). Aadhya asks about Hardik and Rajpal, who arrive to remind them that they need to vacate Asha Bhavan. They rudely threaten Anupama and the others, saying that Asha Bhavan no longer belongs to them. Anupama remains calm, asking them to discuss this later, as it’s a sacred day for Bappa’s visarjan. Hardik and Rajpal leave after giving their final warning, but Anupama stands strong, vowing to protect their home.
Toshu continues venting about Mahi, saying they shouldn’t have to take care of her, especially when her own parents don’t seem to care. He makes harsh remarks, threatening to send Mahi away to Asha Bhavan. Mahi, feeling hurt, says she will leave if they don’t want her. Ansh and Pari, siding with Mahi, threaten to leave too. The family confronts Toshu for his insensitive behavior.
Meanwhile, Nandita, Bala, and others worry about their uncertain future at Asha Bhavan. Anupama reassures everyone that nothing will happen to their home. They begin focusing on the visarjan preparations, putting their troubles aside for the moment.
Later, Anuj tells Anupama that he feels responsible for Asha Bhavan and promises to fight for it, just as they plan to regain what Ankush and Barkha wrongfully took. Anupama assures him that together, they can overcome anything.
As the family prepares for the visarjan, Hardik and Rajpal meet Toshu and try to manipulate him against Vanraj, suggesting that Toshu could secure a deal with Virani in exchange for certain favors. Toshu, fueled by resentment towards his father, agrees to their shady proposal.
Finally, the family bids farewell to Lord Ganesha. Anupama, Anuj, and Aadhya perform the aarti, praying for the removal of all their troubles. The kids express their sadness about Bappa’s departure, but Anupama explains the significance of visarjan, reassuring them that Bappa will return next year. With a hopeful heart, Anuj and Anupama immerse the idol in the water, marking the end of the festival.
