Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 12th September 2024 Written Update
Sai asks a drunk Rajat why he’s saying that no one will call him papa if Kiyaan doesn’t. She reminds him that she is his daughter and calls him papa. Rajat, slurring his words, says that Sai isn’t his daughter, but Arsh and Ashika’s. He reveals that Arsh had told him this during the Dahi Handi celebration. Savi is shocked, recalling Rajat’s recent odd behavior towards Sai. The doctor arrives to continue Rajat’s treatment. While still groggy, Rajat pleads with Kiyaan not to leave him and mutters that Sai isn’t his daughter. After the treatment, Savi brings Rajat home, torn between feeling angry at him or pitying his situation. She vows to find out the truth, knowing this one question has shaken her daughter’s world.
The next morning, Bhagyashree tells the maid Kavita that she’ll prepare breakfast. Rajendra praises the modaks from the previous day and asks what will be served for Bappa’s bhog today. Bhagyashree gets irritated. Rajat walks downstairs, still in pain and holding his mouth. Savi follows behind him. Bhagyashree notices that Savi isn’t wearing her chuda (wedding bangles) and blames her for Rajat’s troubles, claiming it’s because she removed them. Savi explains she took them off because they were hurting Rajat during his treatment. Bhagyashree scolds her for not guarding the sacred akhand jyot overnight. Savi defends herself, questioning why only women have to wear symbols of marriage and why men don’t. Rajat, annoyed, sarcastically asks if she wants him to wear a sari and bindi, then walks away in pain. Rajendra gently asks Savi to wear her chuda again, for her mother-in-law’s sake. Reluctantly, Savi agrees, and Bhagyashree thanks her.
Meanwhile, Aman and Mrunmayee pitch a religious program idea to Shantanu and Isha. They both like the concept, and Shantanu asks Aman and Mrunmayee to make the arrangements. He also thanks Aman for guarding the akhand jyot with Mrunmayee throughout the night. Aman humbly replies that it was his duty. Lucky overhears the conversation and feels jealous. During breakfast, Sai mimics Rajat’s eating habits. Savi notices the similarities between Sai and Rajat and starts questioning why Rajat doubts that Sai is his daughter.
Elsewhere, Ashika wakes up late and orders her maid to bring her coffee. Arsh enters with coffee and her favorite breakfast. Surprised, Ashika asks why he’s so happy. Arsh reveals that Kiyaan is the reason—Rajat’s son no longer wants to acknowledge him, and Rajat is now convinced that Sai isn’t his daughter, all because of him. Arsh smugly tells Ashika that Rajat is emotionally devastated, and now he plans to take Sai away from Rajat with Ashika’s help. Curious, Ashika asks what she needs to do, and Arsh explains his plan.
Savi, determined to prove that Sai is Rajat’s daughter, decides to perform a DNA test. She discreetly cuts Sai’s nail to get a sample. Later, she tries to get Rajat’s nail sample by provoking him to cut his nails, but he throws them in the trash before she can retrieve them. Undeterred, Savi tries to gather hair samples but finds it difficult as Rajat brushes his hair and throws them away. Just as she is about to give up, she spots hair on his towel and quickly grabs a strand, relieved that she finally has the sample.
At that moment, Bhagyashree enters the room and asks what she’s doing. Savi nervously responds that she was checking if Rajat had lice. Suspicious, Bhagyashree notices the lemon and knife in Savi’s hand and accuses her of performing black magic on Rajat. Savi denies it, but Bhagyashree leaves without listening.
Aman and Mrunmayee later discuss how well-suited Rajat and Savi are for each other, if only they could clear up their differences. That night, Savi waits for Rajat to fall asleep so she can cut his hair for a sample. However, as she attempts to cut his hair, Rajat wakes up and screams “ghost!” Savi tries to calm him down, but seeing the knife in her hand, Rajat thinks she’s trying to kill him and runs away in fear. Frustrated, Savi finally finds a hair sample and feels relieved.
