Bhagya Lakshmi 11th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with a servant accidentally bumping into a guest, and Karishma angrily scolds him for embarrassing them. Ayush, however, calmly reassures the servant, telling him it’s okay and to carry on with his work. He then asks Karishma why she embarrassed the servant in front of the guests. Anushka approaches Karishma with a drink and remarks how much things have changed since Lakshmi arrived. She notes that Ayush and Rishi both seem to have changed, adding, “It seems like they only care about Lakshmi now. We don’t seem to matter anymore.” She then advises Karishma not to let it affect her and hands her a glass of water. Aanchal, overhearing, agrees with Anushka’s observation.
The *puja* begins with Pandit Ji asking if everyone has gathered. As the ceremony proceeds, Dadi announces that though she is the eldest, Lakshmi should do the *puja* as she is now a part of their family. Lakshmi steps forward and performs the rituals.
Meanwhile, a smuggler informs his boss about hiding diamonds in Bappa’s idol, replacing the fake stones with real ones. The boss appreciates his plan but warns him that if he fails to retrieve the diamonds, he’ll be shot.
After the *puja*, Dadi encourages Rishi and Lakshmi to perform the aarti together, followed by the rest of the family. Pandit Ji then asks Lakshmi to distribute the *prasad* to everyone. Lakshmi offers *prasad* to Dadi’s friends, who bless her and praise her kindness. As she approaches Balwinder to give him *prasad*, Guddu steps in, takes the *prasad*, and escorts Balwinder away. Lakshmi then shares the *prasad* with the children, Rohan and Paro, who excitedly ask about the next *puja*. Lakshmi informs them it will be held in the evening at 6 pm, and Rohan expresses his eagerness to participate.
Rishi playfully asks Lakshmi for *prasad*, and she gives it to him with a smile. Meanwhile, Guddu notices Anushka eyeing Rishi and Lakshmi and pulls Balwinder aside, warning him about his plan. Balwinder smugly declares, “I’m Ravan, and I’ll kidnap Lakshmi.”
Kiran, noticing Anushka’s distraction, asks her what’s on her mind. Anushka replies, “Nothing.” Kiran ominously advises her to secure her position before someone like Shalu takes it away, adding that while Malishka can regain her standing, Anushka may not be as fortunate. Just then, Shalu and Rano arrive with sweet boxes, and Ayush offers to help Shalu. Rano teases him, saying he should help her too. Ayush jokingly complies, taking boxes from both of them. Shalu declares she’ll first go for *darshan*, while Rano advises Ayush not to be too formal with them.
The smugglers eye the diamonds on Bappa’s idol while Shalu offers *prasad* to everyone. Ayush playfully asks Shalu if she made the sweets herself. She confirms, and he cheekily requests to taste them. Shalu allows him to have only two *laddoos*, warning him not to push his luck. Ayush takes two, praising her cooking skills, and they both reminisce about how Shalu’s mother used to make similar sweets. Anushka, overhearing their sweet exchange, becomes upset.
Ayush compliments Shalu, saying, “Your mother taught you well. These *laddoos* are delicious.” Anushka, feeling threatened, interrupts and rudely asks Shalu to make 200 more *laddoo* packets for charity, offering her money and even mentioning that she would tip her if the sweets are good. Shalu politely agrees but refuses to take money, explaining that she prefers to do charity without payment.
Meanwhile, Aanchal and Rano get into a heated argument. Karishma intervenes, siding with Aanchal, which escalates the situation. Rano, feeling insulted, retorts, “Is Karishma even your daughter, Dadi? She doesn’t act like one.” Dadi, trying to diffuse the situation, tells everyone to calm down, but Rano storms off in a huff.
In the kitchen, Ayush confronts Anushka, demanding to know why she treated Shalu so rudely. “Shalu isn’t your servant, she’s Bhabhi’s sister,” he says firmly. Shalu, trying to keep the peace, assures Ayush that she’ll make the *laddoos* for charity, but won’t accept any money. After she leaves, Ayush turns back to Anushka and warns her, “If anyone talked to me like that, I wouldn’t stay silent. Shalu is being kind by not reacting.”
Elsewhere, Guddu comments to Balwinder about Shalu, hinting at her connection with Ayush. Balwinder wonders aloud why Ayush hasn’t married Shalu yet. Guddu promises to explain later but is interrupted when they notice Anushka eavesdropping on their conversation.
The smugglers, focused on the diamonds, plan their next move. They knock out a Pandit Ji and hide him away, waiting for the right moment to steal the diamonds. Anushka then asks Balwinder and Guddu what they’re doing there, and Balwinder quickly fabricates an excuse, asking for directions to the washroom.
Meanwhile, Rishi approaches Lakshmi and, in a tender moment, hugs her tightly. The song “Aap Hamari Jaan Ban Gaye” plays softly in the background. Balwinder watches them from a distance, anger building inside him. Shalu, busy with the kids, teases them about ice cream, and Ayush, distracted by his admiration for her, barely notices anything else.
As Balwinder’s frustration grows, he tries to approach Rishi and Lakshmi, but Guddu holds him back. Rishi, oblivious to Balwinder’s plotting, thanks Lakshmi for giving him a beautiful daughter and for returning to their home. Just as Rishi embraces Lakshmi again, he spots Balwinder and Guddu watching them. Rishi glares at them and says, “You…” Both Balwinder and Guddu tense up, realizing they’ve been caught.
