Maati Se Bandhi Dor 11th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Rao Saheb noticing the Rangoli and asking who created it. Vasundara explains that she intended to make it but couldn’t because of a backache. He asks again who made it. Rohan steps forward and says, “I made it. Did I do something wrong?” Vaiju quickly interjects, saying it’s not Rohan’s fault and that she had asked him to do it. Rao Saheb responds, “I have never seen such a beautiful and remarkable Rangoli in my life.” Everyone smiles. Vasundara, admiring the art, asks, “But whose sketch is this?” Rohan replies, “It’s of my Aai. I learned all my art from her; she’s my inspiration.” Vasundara praises him, “Amazing.” Meanwhile, Vaiju starts feeling emotional. Vasundara notices and asks, “What’s wrong?” Vaiju, holding back tears, says, “Nothing, it’s just that Rohan’s love for his mother touched me. I have nothing to remember my own mother by.” Vasundara comforts her, saying, “A mother and child’s bond comes from the heart. Your mother lives in your heart. Don’t feel upset on such a beautiful day. I’m here for you, just like a mother.”
Suddenly, Rohan’s sketch slips from his hand and flies out of the window. Vasundara misses the opportunity to see it. Rao Saheb retrieves the sketch and, upon seeing the image, is shocked. It’s Meera’s portrait. Rohan proudly states, “She is my mother.” Rao Saheb is taken aback. Vaiju sees the sketch and remembers a photograph she had seen earlier. Rohan leaves, and Vaiju hurries to the storeroom to retrieve that old photo. Meanwhile, Rao Saheb, emotional, blesses Rohan and says, “I’m really impressed by your talent. Will you teach me?” Rohan agrees, “Sure.”
Vaiju begins to wonder about the connection, thinking, “So, Rao Saheb knows Rohan’s mother. Why has he kept this photo safe for so long? What’s the real connection between them? I need to find out.” Rao Saheb, still emotional, asks Rohan about his father. Rohan replies, “I don’t know anything about him. My mother raised me alone, and then she passed away.” Rao Saheb hesitates but says, “I… I know your father. Would you like to meet him?” Rohan, eager, responds, “Yes, I would love to meet him and even live with him.” Rohan leaves, and Vaiju watches intently.
Rao Saheb later speaks to Meera’s photograph, unaware that Vaiju is listening in. He confesses, “I am Rohan’s father. I searched everywhere for him, but I couldn’t find him until now.” Shocked, Vaiju steps forward and asks, “Is this true? Are you really Rohan’s father?” Rao Saheb admits, “Yes, but no one else knows this truth. Vasundara is aware of my relationship with Meera, but she doesn’t know about the child we had together. Meera and I loved each other deeply, but due to family pressures, I couldn’t marry her. One day, she told me she was pregnant, and I was terrified. I already had a family, children. I told her I couldn’t accept the child. She said it was okay and that she would raise the baby on her own. Then she left, and I lost all contact. I searched for her and my child for years, but I had no idea that Rohan was my son.”
Vaiju, deeply concerned, asks, “What will you do now? Will you tell everyone the truth?” Rao Saheb, conflicted, replies, “No. This truth could destroy the family. A lie that doesn’t harm anyone is bearable. I cannot let this truth tear everything apart.” Vaiju, however, cautions, “But what if Vasundara, Ranvijay, or Ragini learn the truth from someone else? Imagine the chaos that would cause. This truth is bound to come out eventually.” Rao Saheb nods, “Yes, you’re right. But I must hide it for now. I’ll tell them when the time is right. Please, keep this secret. I cannot bear to hurt Vasundara or let the family fall apart.”
Vaiju hands him the photo and assures him, “I won’t reveal your secret to anyone, but I feel sad for Rohan. He will continue searching for his family, never knowing the truth or getting his rightful place. It’s not his fault, yet he will bear the consequences. I urge you to reveal the truth soon, so Rohan gets the rights he deserves.”
