Megha Barsenge 10th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Arjun asking about Megha. Manoj prompts Megha to talk, and she replies, “Everything is fine.” Arjun, still concerned, asks about Manoj’s alleged affair. Manoj plays a recorded audio of Megha, leaving Arjun confused. Megha recalls the moment when Manoj recorded her. Manoj tries to intimidate Megha. Meanwhile, a delivery man arrives with a parcel for Ranjeeta. Goldie signs for it and shows the bag to Ranjeeta, who inspects it. Megha, in distress, pleads with Amy to let her go, shouting for help. Manoj tells her no one will come to save her and insists she eat something. Ranjeeta finds money inside the bag and says she’ll take it to the police station.
Just then, someone arrives at the door. Manoj checks while Ranjeeta opens the door to find some officers. Arjun enters Manoj’s house, and Manoj tries to stop him. Arjun smiles and looks around. Ranjeeta asks the officers who they are. One man replies, “We’re from the anti-corruption department, and we’ve received a complaint that you’ve been taking bribes.” Ranjeeta protests, saying, “No, this bag was delivered by a courier, and I was about to take it to the police station.” The officer skeptically replies, “But I didn’t mention anything about money.” The man then says, “We will conduct a test.” Surinder jumps in, defending Ranjeeta, saying, “Sikandar is the one causing us trouble; Ranjeeta is honest. Don’t doubt her.” The officer instructs Ranjeeta to dip her hand into a solution.
Meanwhile, Manoj rudely tells Arjun that he doesn’t appreciate unwanted guests. Arjun casually replies, “Neither do I. I came to invite you and Megha for dinner, a good chance to clear up our misunderstandings.” Manoj brushes it off, saying, “Megha isn’t home right now. I’ll ask her when she returns.” Arjun, maintaining his calm, says, “Alright, at least offer me some water, or maybe we can have a beer. Megha will be back soon, right?” He smirks, glancing around. Back with Ranjeeta, despite Goldie’s defense, the officer coldly replies, “We believe what we see. Ranjeeta has accepted a bribe, and she will have to come in for questioning.” Goldie insists that Ranjeeta is being framed, while Surinder pleads with them to trust him. The police escort Ranjeeta away, much to the family’s dismay.
At Manoj’s house, Arjun continues his search and starts to feel suspicious. He praises the house, saying, “Nice place you’ve got. So, where did Megha go?” Amy, keeping watch over Megha, tries to prevent her from making any noise. Manoj, trying to maintain composure, replies, “You’re a busy man, Arjun. I’ll make sure you speak to Megha when she returns. She’s not here now.” Arjun, playing along, says, “You’re a strange host and an even stranger husband. Want to know why?” He grabs a beer from the fridge, continuing, “You left Megha all alone. She only knows you and me in this vast country. Where would she go? If anything happens to her…” Manoj, irritated, says, “I’m not that careless. I love Megha, and I won’t let her go anywhere unsafe. She’s gone to our store because I wasn’t feeling well.” Arjun replies, “Oh, is that so? Alright, but why is her bag still here? Didn’t she take it with her?” Manoj brushes it off, saying, “Don’t go snooping through a married woman’s bag. She’s a woman, she doesn’t have just one bag.” Arjun, skeptical, says, “Of course.”
Suddenly, Megha makes a noise, hitting the floor. Arjun asks, “Did you hear that?” Manoj, trying to act clueless, responds, “What sound?” Amy quickly rushes to prevent Megha from making more noise. Arjun, persistent, says, “It came from that side of the house.” Manoj, growing more defensive, says, “You can’t just barge into my house. I don’t like this.” Arjun retorts, “I don’t care. Who’s inside? Is it Megha? Why are you shouting? Let’s call her out.” Manoj, now panicking, insists, “Megha’s not here. She’s out, and you’re invading my privacy.” Arjun replies, “Then why is that room locked if no one’s inside?”
Manoj gets angrier and says, “This is my house. I’m married, my wife stays here, and you’re entering my life without permission.” Arjun, undeterred, says, “I know Megha is inside.” He then shouts for Megha, demanding that she open the door. Manoj tries to physically push Arjun away, telling him to leave. Arjun ignores him and rushes toward the room, which causes Manoj to worry. Meanwhile, Amy and Megha hide in the closet.
Back at Ranjeeta’s house, Surinder asks, “Where have they taken her?” The inspector tries to reassure them, saying, “We don’t know yet, but Ranjeeta would never accept a bribe. Don’t worry, nothing will happen to her.” Goldie, furious, says, “This is Sikandar’s doing.” Riya, visibly shaken, drops the tea she was holding. Goldie notices her trembling and pleads with Kripal to do something for her.
Meanwhile, Manoj tries to stop Arjun from inspecting the closet. He nervously says, “Come on, I’ll show you the rest of the house. Where’s Megha, anyway? There are other rooms, too.” Manoj tries to insult Arjun, asking, “Are you Megha’s boyfriend?” Arjun, unfazed, responds, “You have an affair with someone else, and yet you’re blaming me? Nice try.” Manoj continues, “You’re trying to plant doubt in Megha’s mind. She’s my wife, and she trusts me. She doesn’t want to see you, which is why she went to our store. Now, get out and don’t show your face here again.” Arjun, pretending to back down, says, “I’m really sorry. I realize I’ve caused you trouble. But you know how Megha is—how would she react if she knew what was going on here? I just want to apologize to her personally. I need to hear it from her. So, I’m staying.”
