Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha 23rd January 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with the priest congratulating both families after Ranbir and Meghla’s wedding. Everyone is all smiles, sharing in the happiness of the occasion. Simran takes a moment to check on Adrija through Meghla, who reassures her that Adrija is doing fine. However, Harman can’t help but question why Adrija didn’t attend the wedding. Sensing the tension, Ranbir steps in and asks Harman to let the matter go, and Harman agrees.
Mahua then informs Ranbir’s family that they plan to head home. Chandan mentions the many preparations needed for the evening event, but Balveer insists they stay for lunch at the hotel. Chandan agrees, though Mahua clearly shows her irritation. Later, Meher expresses concern about Adrija’s well-being, but Mahua uses it as an opportunity to taunt the Bajwa family. She accuses Ranbir of being the reason for Adrija’s current state. Meher defends them, stating that they truly care for Adrija and only wish the best for her. Mahua smiles, though her bitterness is obvious.
Zoravar then asks Chandan about Adrija’s condition. Chandan explains that she will need time to heal emotionally, but he’s confident she’ll find a job soon, as she has the desire to work. Zoravar suggests that Adrija could work at their hotel, given her qualifications as a topper. Balveer supports the idea and offers her a position without any formalities. However, Chandan insists that she should go through the interview process to keep things fair. Balveer brushes off the concern, assuring Chandan that Adrija won’t need to worry about formalities or restrictions. If she decides to switch jobs in the future, they’ll fully support her. Chandan feels relieved and thankful. Zoravar adds that while life has its challenges, focusing on one’s career can help in moving forward. Chandan agrees.
Simran gets into a minor disagreement with others, insisting that Meghla be served food first. Just then, Anurag arrives with Diljot, and both Ranbir and Meghla take their blessings. Anurag teasingly asks Meghla to sing a song, and though hesitant at first, Meghla agrees after Ranbir gently encourages her. Harman announces her performance, gathering everyone. Meghla sings beautifully, captivating the audience—except for Mahua, who remains unimpressed. After the performance, Meghla receives praise from everyone. Ranbir can’t take his eyes off her, and his cousins tease him while complimenting Meghla. Simran, however, expresses concerns about how Meghla might struggle to fit into their family. Harman dismisses it with a playful remark to Simran.
Chandan informs Ranbir about their plans to leave. Ranbir agrees and gathers his family to bid Chandan and Mahua farewell. However, he stays behind with Meghla. Alone with her, Ranbir expresses how happy he is about their marriage and how much it means to him to hear her voice every day. Meghla smiles but seems distracted, prompting Ranbir to ask what’s bothering her. Meghla confesses her guilt over Adrija’s unhappiness with their wedding and her worry about Mahua and Adrija’s pain. Ranbir tries to console her, urging her to focus on their happiness, at least for the day. Meghla, overcome with emotion, breaks down, and Ranbir comforts her.
