Bhagya Lakshmi 22nd January 2025 Written Update
The episode begins with Kiran stopping Malishka from cutting her vein and asking what she was planning to do. Malishka questions why she stopped her, explaining that despite her efforts, Rishi and Lakshmi aren’t separating, and she overheard Rishi talking about taking rounds with Lakshmi. She says she can’t bear to see it. Shalu asks Anushka what she was trying to do, accusing her of attempting to steal. Anushka denies it, saying everything is hers and accuses Shalu of ruining her life, claiming that Ayush will never love her.
Malishka says she wants to die. Kiran asks what will happen if she dies, reminding her that nothing will be fine just because she dies. She says everyone will cry, but she will be the one affected and pleads with Malishka not to do it. Malishka says she can’t watch Rishi and Lakshmi take rounds, as the last time she could, because he was hers. She says she will die if she sees them taking rounds. Kiran reassures her that she won’t let them take rounds, adding that Lakshmi won’t even be able to walk for it.
Anushka insists that Ayush is hurt right now, but that he loves only her. Shalu warns her to stop talking, accusing her of stooping so low and saying she’ll tell everyone about her. In anger, Anushka grabs a vase and smashes it over Shalu’s head. Shalu tries to hold her but ends up falling unconscious.
Meanwhile, Varsha wonders where to search for Rishi’s room, noting that the rich people’s houses are so large. She enters a room but realizes it’s not Rishi’s room, as there are no pictures of Rishi and Malishka. Pandit ji starts the puja, and Lakshmi recalls the watchman mentioning Anushka’s arrival, wondering why she is here. Rishi approaches Lakshmi, standing beside her. Neelam watches them closely. Rishi thinks to himself that he will make Lakshmi believe that she is the only one in his life and will express his feelings for her in front of everyone, declaring she is his everything. When Malishka enters, Rishi decides she means nothing to him. Malishka tells Kiran that she will kill herself if Rishi and Lakshmi take the rounds. Kiran asks why she’s saying that, and Malishka explains that if she doesn’t get everything, she goes mad. She says she can’t bear that Rishi is giving her place and rights to Lakshmi and that she wants to take rounds with him. Kiran thinks to herself that she has a plan to make Malishka get Rishi.
As everyone starts walking around the Lohri fire, Lakshmi moves to join, but Rishi stops her, holding her hand. Ayush smiles. Malishka thinks she must take Lohri rounds with Rishi, while Ayush encourages her. Rano wonders what Rishi is planning. Kiran, holding the puja plate, thinks she has brought glass pieces along with the sharp shell of a coconut. She plans to scatter the glass pieces around the Lohri fire so that Lakshmi gets hurt and can’t walk.
Neelam urges Malishka to do the puja. Kiran approaches Malishka, telling her that her father is calling her to talk, and asks her to speak with him. Aanchal agrees, and Karishma says she’ll call Gurumaa. Malishka pretends to be on the phone as Kiran walks away to scatter the glass. Rano asks Kiran what she’s brought, and Malishka grows upset. Kiran purposely drops the plate, and when Lakshmi offers to pick it up, Kiran insists she will. As she bends down, she scatters the glass pieces on the floor, saying now Lakshmi can proceed with the puja.
As Lakshmi and Rishi begin their rounds, others follow. Lakshmi almost steps on the glass pieces, but Rishi stops her, saying he needs to tell her something. Lakshmi reminds him that they need to finish the puja, but he insists he must say this now or it will never happen. Ayush thinks about calling Shalu to see them, while Anushka, who is worried about Shalu, tries to get her to wake up. Shalu finally regains consciousness, and Anushka plans to call Neel for help. Meanwhile, Neel, on his way to Rishi’s room, hides upon seeing Varsha. Varsha, confused, wonders why people force her into things she doesn’t want to do. Karishma calls her and asks what she’s doing, and Varsha explains she got lost. Karishma gives her directions, and Varsha leaves. Neel follows behind Karishma.
Rishi tells Lakshmi that today is a special day, Lohri, a celebration passed down by their ancestors. Lakshmi acknowledges the significance of the day, and Rishi goes on to say that he wants to express his feelings in front of everyone. He tells her that she is the light that pulls him out of darkness and saves him from problems. He says she is his happiness, peace, and everything, calling her his destiny and his Bhagya Lakshmi. Lakshmi listens, touched.
