Anupama 21st January 2025 Written Update

The episode starts with Anupama telling Janki behen that Parag Kothari called her to meet him and said that she shouldn’t tell anyone. Janki behen suggests he might have called to apologize, that he could be ashamed to apologize in front of everyone, and perhaps he invited her after eating the food made by them to give her new orders. Anupama replies that the situation is different, as she knows such egoistic men. Janki behen asks if he apologizes, will you forgive him? Anupama says she doesn’t know. Janki behen encourages her to have a big heart and forgive him. She asks when she has to meet him, and Anupama replies tomorrow at 8 am. Janki behen tells her to rest, and she will handle the work. Anupama says she has so much on her mind that she can’t rest and will relieve herself with masala therapy. She starts grinding the masala, feeling angry about Parag Kothari. Meanwhile, Parag Kothari is doing intense exercise, thinking about Anupama and Prem. A flashback plays, where Prem asks him what he has brought. Parag says not much and explains everything. Prem gets happy, and Gayatri asks if he will fulfill all of Prem’s wishes when he’s older. Parag says he can do anything for his son’s happiness. Prem says he is the best father. The flashback ends. Khyati says she has seen him break down many times. Moti Baa says that Prem had returned to argue, blaming Anupama and Rahi for his tone and words, and tells them this isn’t their value system. She mentions that this is a fire they’ve set, and they must pay for it. Khyati looks worried. Parag says, “See you at 8 am, Anupama Joshi.” Anupama replies, “Let’s meet Parag Kothari.”

The next morning, Anupama arrives at the cliff and calls out her name. Her voice echoes across the mountains, and she smiles upon hearing it. She reflects that if karma truly returns, good things should happen to good people, but even if we plant flowers, we end up with thorns. At that moment, she notices Parag Kothari arriving in a car, followed by security guards in another car. He signals for the guards to leave and approaches Anupama. He greets her, and she greets him back. Parag tells her that today, a father has come, not the diamond king. Anupama asks what he means.

Toshu wonders where Mummy has gone early in the morning. He says clients are calling. Baa asks where Prem and Rahi are. Toshu replies they are working together. He calls Anupama, but Ishu brings the phone and says it’s ringing. Toshu wonders if she went to the Kotharis. He says she can go anywhere, but not to the Kotharis.

Anupama asks what he means by saying a father has come to meet her. Just then, a gust of wind blows, and his phone slips from his hand. Anupama picks it up and hands it back to him. She notices Prem’s photo on the wallpaper and asks what Prem’s photo is doing on his phone. Parag quickly takes the phone and asks if she’s implying she didn’t know Prem is his only son. She recalls Prem saying he’s Prem, and an orphan. She remembers Prarthana and Prem denying any connection with each other. Anupama asks if Prem is his son. She holds her head in shock. Parag calls her, and she recalls Pandit ji’s words that Prem has Maha Rajya yog.

Parag asks if she really didn’t know and says, how could she let a stranger stay at her house. He accuses her of not asking about his family and warns her not to lie, as he hates lies and liars. He claims she has a small business, many family members, and might have thought Prem was a way to climb the ladder to wealth. He says many gold diggers dream of marrying a tycoon’s son, and you got that chance and grabbed it. He claims every mother wants her daughter to marry into a big family, and even you hoped for Rahi to marry Prem. But what is good for you doesn’t mean it’s good for him, he insists. He says the alliance is only possible when the families are of equal status, but sadly, they are not, so the alliance will never happen. Anupama says there are two things: First, she swears on Kanha ji that she didn’t know Prem was his son. If she had known, she would’ve told him his son was here. Parag asks if she’s serious. She affirms. Then she adds that secondly, neither she nor her daughter is a gold digger, and they are not interested in anyone’s wealth.

Rahi tells Prem to double-check something. Prem says she should listen. She insists she needs to concentrate on work, no romance in the morning, just work. Prem asks if he’s hurt her. Rahi asks what’s bothering him. Prem says, “Rahi… I…” Just then, Mahi enters and calls Prem. She says she’ll come back later, and Rahi assures it’s fine. Toshu walks in and asks if the order is ready, then to pack and send it. Prem agrees. He steps outside, frustrated, thinking about telling Rahi the truth before she hears it from someone else.

Parag tells Anupama that his son matters to him, not her truths or lies. He explains that Prem left home but will return one day to take over his work and empire, and he will make sure Prem returns alone. No one from Anupama’s side will enter his house. Anupama warns him, telling him that Rahi is Anuj Kapadia’s daughter. Parag tells her to teach Rahi to behave like a proper family girl. He shares that Prem came to insult him and take revenge for her insult, claiming that Anu Ma’am is his mother and Rahi is his love. He says Prem demanded an apology or he wouldn’t face him again. Parag continues that Anupama’s lawyer came to the house, and relationships are like a game to people like her. He mentions that he has investigated her life and found that her two marriages failed. He tells her there’s no normal relationship in her house, and he doesn’t want Prem to stay or work there. He adds that he doesn’t want Prem to regard her as his mother or love Rahi, questioning how her daughter could succeed in a relationship when she herself couldn’t. Anupama responds, saying she is the one who has fulfilled all relationships her entire life. She says her relationship with Anuj will last until her last breath. He tells her their statuses don’t match, and while she married Anuj Kapadia, Rahi will never marry Prem. Anupama asks him what he wants, to separate Prem from Rahi and send him back to him. Parag responds that it’s easy to talk when someone is wise, then offers her money, asking her to take it. She says they raise sons, not buy them. He mocks her, saying if she doesn’t buy, she shouldn’t steal. He offers her money for Prem’s food, lodging, and boarding expenses.
