Jagriti 19th January 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Gita telling Jagriti that Kalikant Thakur must be behind Ballu’s disappearance. She shows her spy camera and explains that all conversations will be recorded on it. Jagriti asks if it’s like the photo you took when I was about to be born. Gita gets emotional and advises her to get Akash’s help to place the camera in Kalindi’s belongings. She also tells her to take care of herself. Suraj asks Sapna if she will be able to sleep without Gita aunty. Sapna responds that now she will do everything on her own, and her life will no longer revolve around Mamma. Kachori, feeling hopeful, says Gita aunty will bring Baba back to life. Bindi asks what’s wrong. Kachori hugs her and says Gita aunty will make Baba better. Bindi looks worried.
Jaggu arrives at the haveli and apologizes to Gayatri, saying she couldn’t come the previous day. Gayatri responds that’s why she had to keep an eye on everyone. Jaggu asks if they lit the diya. Gayatri says only Ganga lit it. Jaggu asks if the fast was completed. Gayatri confirms that only Ganga kept the fast. Kalindi comments that Jaggu wasn’t there to guide her on what to do. Jaggu reminds her of the 7-day fast and asks Gayatri who won the previous day. Gayatri says Ganga won. Akash applauds and says no one can replace his mother. Sapna calls it cheating, claiming that they are all in one team while Kalindi aunty is alone. Gayatri asks what she means by that. Sapna accuses them of cheating with Jaggu’s help. Gayatri asserts that Vandevi’s fast needs to be completed, and since only Ganga has done so, she is the rightful owner of the house. She adds that they will see what Kalindi can do. Jaggu whispers to Akash, asking him to come along.
Akash notices the spy camera. Jaggu tells him that Kalikant and Kalindi have kept Ballu captive somewhere and that if Ballu Kaka doesn’t make it to court, Baba won’t be freed. She mentions that Maa gave her the camera to place in Kalindi’s things. Akash agrees to hide the camera with her belongings. Gita visits Sapna at Kalikant’s house. Sapna asks why Gita came and if it’s to apologize. Gita assures her not to feel insecure, stating that she is her priority and that she is merely doing her duty.
Kalikant enters, clapping, and says this is selfishness, not love. Gita retorts, calling him out. Kalikant argues that while it’s Gita’s duty to get her daughter’s father out of jail, it’s selfish to free the man who killed her other daughter’s father. He tells Sapna that he’s with her and to not worry. Sapna calls Gita selfish and leaves. Gita vows to bring the real murderer to justice or she will quit her profession. She departs, and Kalikant calls Singh, ordering that Ballu be taken to the cremation ground before Gita can reach the court.
Akash and Jaggu attempt to install the camera when Sapna arrives. They quickly hide. After Sapna leaves, Jaggu asks Akash where the camera is. Akash suggests it might have fallen in the cupboard and warns that searching could make things messy. Singh arrives and shoots at Ballu. He wonders why Ballu didn’t shout and goes closer, only to find a dummy instead of Ballu. He is puzzled and wonders who moved Ballu.
Jaggu steps in front of Gita’s car and tells her she couldn’t set up the camera. Gita reassures her, saying she has everything under control and that some people help the right cause. They reach the court and spot Ballu. Gita tells Jaggu they have brought Ballu. Jaggu looks at the constable and tells Kachori that Gita has kept her promise. Kachori remarks that this is only half the promise, and it will be fulfilled when Gita Kaki gets Harish and her Baba cleared of all charges. Jaggu explains that Maa didn’t say that Ballu Kaka won’t be punished. The constables lead Ballu inside. Gita tells Jaggu she needs to speak to Ballu before the trial begins.
Kalikant is furious and starts breaking things. Kalindi tries to calm him down, embracing him. Kalikant complains that he can’t find anyone capable enough to do the job. Kalindi reassures him, saying she will handle it. He mentions this is Mokshgarh, and she asks him to trust her.
Gita tells Kachori to go inside with her mother. She asks Constable Yadav to release Ballu so she can talk to him. She confronts Ballu, telling him that he killed her husband and framed Harish. She states that she knows he always had a problem with Harish, and in doing so, he ruined her daughter’s future. However, she promises to secure his daughter’s future. She also reveals that the very man, Sarkar, for whom he committed the crime, wanted to kill him. Gita offers Ballu a chance to redeem himself by confessing to his crimes, becoming a government witness, and revealing who ordered the murder. Meanwhile, Jaggu thinks about how Kachori and her friendship will break if Ballu gets punished.
