Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 20th January 2025 Written Update
The episode begins with Abhira crying and shouting at herself. She tells herself to stop crying. Both Armaan and Abhira cry deeply, reciting shayari about their separation. Krish enters Kiara’s room and tells her that she isn’t going anywhere. Kiara says she loves Abhir and wants to express her feelings. He stops her and explains that their families have many issues. She responds that Rohit and Ruhi are happy together. He says she should stop this madness. Kiara insists on messaging him. Abhir waits eagerly for Charu’s reply. Kiara messages “I love you” to him. He is overjoyed and wonders if he’s dreaming, thinking that Charu loves him. Surekha asks what’s going on, and he replies that he’s happy. She invites him to meet some guests. Kiara gets Abhir’s reply, “I love you too.” She shows the message to Krish, pleading for his help. Krish agrees, and she hugs him.
The ladies talk to Abhir, reminding him about the accident. They pity him, but Abhir responds nonchalantly, joking around. Manish remarks that this can’t be their Abhir, as he’s smiling. Swarna says he is happy. Manish is surprised and acknowledges that Abhir seems to be settling with them. Swarna mentions that Abhira had a court hearing today. Abhira arrives home, and the ladies pity her. She becomes angry and argues with them.
Manish asks her to stop, but Abhira heads to her room. Abhir tells the ladies they’ve had enough gossip and that they can leave now. Swarna mentions that Armaan and Abhira love each other deeply, but Manish says that Armaan has broken her heart, trust, and courage. Armaan thinks about hiding the diary so that Dadi won’t throw it away, and he hides it in a pot wrapper. Manish is passing by when he overhears Roop consoling a woman about her divorce. Roop advises the woman to make her ex feel jealous, and the lady leaves. Manish continues on his way. RK looks for his phone, noticing a child playing with it. He warns the child not to take his phone without asking and not to leave the house alone. Bittu acknowledges this and helps RK with his hair. Manish observes RK and Bittu talking, and RK tells Bittu that he’s his elder brother and should come home with him.
Abhira is seen looking at her and Armaan’s photos and crying. She then sees RK’s post. Manish arrives and advises her to work with RK, suggesting that she should accept his job offer. She dismisses the idea, saying he’s just a joker and never serious about anything. He explains that fate has its way and nothing can change it, but she could try changing her perception. She calls her senior for help, but the man says he can’t assist her and mentions that she’ll need three months to a year for her suspension to end. She continues calling other lawyers but doesn’t find any work. She wonders what she will do for a year, fearing that everyone will forget her name, and she’ll lose the reputation she earned. She decides that she can’t work with that strange man. RK wakes up and falls off the bed. As he looks for his phone, the song Bluffmaster plays in the background. He answers Abhira’s call and flirts with her. She tells him she’s not interested in chatting but has called to accept his job offer. He jokes with her and tells her she’ll be his junior, asking her to meet him at the temple tomorrow with two tiffins. He ends the call, and Abhira resigns herself to tolerating him because of Armaan.
