Maati Se Bandhi Dor 20th January 2025 Written Update
The episode begins with Vasundara asking Ragini to bring warm milk for Jaya. Everyone congratulates Jaya. Vaiju reminisces about her happy moment with Ranvijay in her dream. Sulekha comments that Vaiju doesn’t seem happy. Vaiju says she is happy for Jaya. Sulekha suggests that Vaiju might be feeling jealous that this happy moment has arrived in Jaya’s life and not hers. Ranvijay defends Vaiju, saying she’s not the jealous type, and people actually envy her goodness. Vaiju reassures them, saying she’s genuinely happy for Jaya. Sulekha presses her, asking what she’s hiding. Vaiju denies it. Sulekha points out an envelope and asks what’s inside. Ranvijay checks it and is surprised. He asks if it’s true, and Vaiju nods. He embraces her and says they’re expecting two babies. Rao Sahab congratulates Vaiju. Jaya offers her congratulations too. Ranvijay teases Sulekha, praises Vaiju, and hugs her. He then makes Vaiju drink haldi milk and embraces her again.
Eight months later, Vasundara and the family help Jaya get ready. Jaya asks where Ranvijay is. Ranvijay is preparing Vaiju for the Godh bharai ceremony. He mentions that they haven’t decided on a name yet and suggests the letter “V” because it’s his lucky letter. Vaiju offers some name suggestions, but he dismisses them, preferring a cute and strong daughter like her. He proposes the name Vaani. Vaiju likes it but says she wants a son first, smart, strong, and clean-hearted like him, naming him Vayu. Vasundara arrives and taunts them, telling Ranvijay to go to Jaya, as she gets worried without him and it’s his responsibility to care for her. Ranvijay leaves to look after Jaya. Vaiju comes downstairs alone and stumbles. Rao Sahab catches her and asks her to come. Ranvijay sits Vaiju next to Jaya. Sulekha tells the men to leave, as it’s a ladies’ function. Vaiju compliments Jaya, but Jaya starts an argument, accusing Vaiju of taking everything from her. Vaiju responds that fate brought her and Ranvijay closer, something Jaya will never understand. She reminds Jaya that if she hadn’t stopped Ranvijay, Jaya wouldn’t be here. Jaya glares at her. Vasundara and Sulekha perform the rasam with Jaya. Sulekha stops Ragini from doing the rasam with Vaiju. Vaiju is emotional and leaves. She hides her empty saree pallu from Ranvijay when he asks how the function was. She tells him it was great and that she received shagun from everyone. He asks to see it, but she declines, saying she can’t show him. He agrees and tells her to change while he goes to get water. She prays to Nandi Maharaj.
The next morning, Vaiju playfully whistles for Ranvijay. He teasingly says she’s teasing a married man, to which she responds that she’ll tease him. They share a sweet moment. He says he’s late for a meeting and leaves. Jaya tries to adjust his tie, but he tells her that Vaiju tied it and it’s the best for him. He then leaves. Jaya stumbles on the stairs, and Vaiju warns her to be careful. Jaya insults her. Ragini, Vasundara, and Sulekha observe from a distance. Vasundara suggests that they shouldn’t stress Jaya. Vaiju agrees, stating that Jaya should take care of herself. Jaya accuses Vaiju of having a problem with Ranvijay and his family looking after her instead of Vaiju. Vaiju tries to tell her to be careful, but Jaya tells her to stop giving orders. She threatens to call Ranvijay, and Vaiju tells her to wait as he is in an important meeting. Jaya snaps, saying Vaiju can’t tell her what to do. Vasundara intervenes and stops Vaiju.
