Jhanak 19th January 2025 Written Episode
The episode begins with Anirudh confronting Vihaan about seeing his wife, Jhanak, in Kolkata. He mentions that he had been searching for the real Avni’s photograph and questions who Vihaan brought along. Vihaan admits that his current wife is not Avni. When Anirudh presses further, asking how he knows Jhanak, Vihaan explains that he married her, which is why she is with him. Anirudh demands to know when the marriage took place.
Vihaan decides not to reveal the full truth and instead shifts the topic, questioning if Anirudh faked his illness. Anirudh confesses he stayed back to uncover the truth and criticizes the fake muh dikhai ceremony. Vihaan maintains that his marriage to Jhanak is real but recalls how Jhanak had requested him to keep certain truths from Anirudh.
Meanwhile, Mahek marvels at Jhanak’s ability to make delicious pickles despite her time in America. Priyanshi, curious, asks if everyone in America focuses on studies. Jhanak emphasizes the importance of education, encouraging Priyanshi to concentrate on her studies and exams. Mahek wishes she had met Jhanak earlier, while Priyanshi expresses her trust in Jhanak and asks her to speak to Vihaan. Jhanak advises Priyanshi to stay focused on her education. Mahek, however, warns Jhanak that opposing Ketki in the house will not be easy.
When Anirudh again inquires about Jhanak, Vihaan urges him to first understand the story of Avni. He reveals that he met Avni in the US, fell in love, and married her. Tragically, Avni died in a plane crash, and her body was never recovered. Vihaan explains that he was left with only Ahaan, his son, and moved to India when his family agreed to meet him. He adds that he met Jhanak in India, who needed shelter, while he needed someone to care for Ahaan, leading to their marriage.
Anirudh is shocked by this revelation. He comments on Jhanak’s talents, especially her dancing skills, and insists on speaking to her before leaving. Vihaan, however, remains adamant that he cannot replace Avni with Jhanak.
Elsewhere, Bipasha expresses her frustration to Laal, saying she cannot continue living in the house. Laal replies that he cannot afford a flat yet. Bipasha sarcastically accuses him of prioritizing Mimi’s wedding expenses. She suggests he earn money by leaking exam papers, but Laal hesitates, fearing job loss if caught. Bipasha warns him that losing her as his wife is a bigger risk. Appu interrupts the argument, calling out for Lalon.
Jhanak confronts Anirudh, asking why he wants to talk when their relationship is over. Anirudh criticizes her for marrying a stranger, but Jhanak points out that she does not interfere in his life and expects the same. When he demands an explanation, she recounts being kidnapped by Kul Bhushan and killing a goon to escape. She admits she sought shelter and a fresh start. Anirudh is stunned and questions whether she’s certain the goon is dead and if she has contacted Aditya. Jhanak insists she wants no contact with anyone from her past. Anirudh remarks that Vihaan still loves Avni, to which Jhanak responds that her marriage to Vihaan is also for practical reasons, but she hopes they can develop a relationship over time.
Kul Bhushan learns Jhanak’s whereabouts. He reveals that Jhanak is staying as the daughter-in-law of a wealthy family and mentions the theft and attempted murder charges against her. Kul Bhushan orders his men to bring Jhanak back. Appu advises Bipasha to help Tanuja in the kitchen. Laal supports this and leaves for college.
Anirudh questions Jhanak about her ability to forget the past so easily. Jhanak explains she is trying to move on and is happy in her new life. She walks away, leaving Anirudh alone.
