Rajat recalls Savi confronting him about not donating blood to Sai and feels a pang of guilt. He reflects on how his daughter’s life was at risk, and he didn’t act because of Arsh. Sai is his daughter, and he won’t let Arsh or anyone take her from him. He resolves never to hurt Sai and vows to love her like before. Just then, Kiyaan calls. Rajat is surprised and emotional to hear his son’s voice after so long. Kiyaan expresses his desire to meet him. Rajat agrees, saying he’ll come to Panchgani tomorrow. Kiyaan mentions he’s at his mom’s house and hangs up before Rajat can respond.
Bhagyashree walks in and asks Rajat why he’s still awake. Rajat explains that Kiyaan called and wants to meet him. Bhagyashree is overjoyed, saying she had lost hope of ever seeing Kiyaan again. Rajat, however, suspects this could be part of Arsh’s plan since he’s frustrated after losing Sai’s custody. Rajendra advises him to stop being negative and meet Kiyaan to find out the truth. Bhagyashree agrees. Meanwhile, Savi overhears their conversation. Elsewhere, Shantanu notices Isha deep in thought and asks if she’s thinking about Savi. Isha says she’s disgusted by Rajat’s refusal to donate blood to his own daughter, or even have the blood type checked. Shantanu suggests they stop dwelling on it and focus on cheering up Sai, who’s upset.
The next morning, Mrunmayee heads toward the lift, hoping to ace her job interview. Aman bumps into her and asks why she’s in such a rush. She explains that she has a job interview and her cab will arrive in 15 minutes. Aman decides to chat with her until then and asks if she’s thought of a plan to bring Rajat and Savi closer. Mrunmayee suggests sending Rajat and Savi on a honeymoon trip. Aman dismisses the idea, saying they’d probably take Sai along too. Mrunmayee throws out several more ideas, all of which Aman rejects, leaving her frustrated.
Isha later visits the Thakkars and asks Sai if she wants to have modak. Sai replies that Bhagyashree is already making modak for her. Isha notices Bhagyashree quietly working and asks Savi what’s wrong with her mother-in-law. Savi advises Isha not to upset Bhagyashree, who is already feeling down. Isha playfully provokes Bhagyashree to return to her usual feisty self, successfully bringing out her fighting spirit, and leaves with a smile. Rajat hurries downstairs to meet Kiyaan and rushes out of the house, ignoring Tara in the process. Tara, feeling hurt, asks her parents how Rajat could ignore her, especially on the day she’s leaving for Canada. Aman walks in and says Rajat didn’t notice him either. Bhagyashree explains that Rajat is upset today. Aman then asks Tara if she’s heading somewhere. Tara reveals she’s going to Canada to stay with her husband, Jigar. Rajendra offers her Canadian dollars, and Lucky offers to drop her at the airport. Bhagyashree says she’ll accompany Tara, but Tara nervously insists on going alone, arousing Savi’s suspicion.
Rajat arrives at Arsh’s house to meet Kiyaan, but the guards stop him, explaining that Arsh has ordered no one let him in. Arsh changes his mind and allows Rajat to enter but refuses to let him see Kiyaan, reminding him of the court orders. Rajat pleads, saying Kiyaan wants to meet him. Arsh retorts, saying that just as Rajat is preventing him from seeing his daughter, he will not allow Rajat to see his son. Ashika intervenes and tells Rajat he can meet Kiyaan, but first, she hands him a file and asks him to sign some papers. Rajat walks toward Kiyaan and imagines his son happily hugging him, saying how much he missed him. Rajat, emotional, replies that he missed him too, only to realize it was just his imagination. Kiyaan finally notices Rajat, greets him coldly, and instructs him to sign the documents.
