Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 18th January 2025 Written Update
The episode starts with everyone watching the news of Armaan accusing Abhira of accepting a bribe. Sanjay is pleased and mocks Abhira. Ruhi says she is going to Abhira, as she can’t leave her alone. Dadi asks her not to go. Ruhi says, “You didn’t let me go when Abhir needed us, but today, you all will be happy.” She asks Rohit not to stop her, as Armaan has wronged Abhira. Charu says she will go with her. Dadi asks Sanjay to let them go, as Armaan won’t return to Abhira now. Manisha gets upset. Abhira walks on the road, lost in thought after hearing Armaan’s accusations.
She doesn’t notice a burning wire hanging down. She walks toward it, and a man sees her and urges her to stop. He rushes over and pulls her away, asking her what was wrong, as she didn’t hear his voice or see the electric wire. He tells her to be careful, but he has to meet Suman and that they’ll meet again if fate permits. He leaves. Abhira finds his wallet and says to herself that she can return it, as he saved her life. Manisha meets Vidya, and they both watch the news. Manisha asks if the situation was right for Abhira. Vidya argues, and Manisha defends Abhira, saying, “You made a mistake. Abhir is in a wheelchair because of you. I think it’s funny how our family has double standards. If Armaan supported Rohit, he wouldn’t be wrong.” Vidya justifies her actions, but Manisha scolds her. Vidya mentions how she had been sent to jail earlier. Manisha says, “You are wrong about Armaan. Armaan and Abhira love each other, and no storm can break them. But you made him bitter, and their relationship can’t survive this.” Vidya disagrees, saying Armaan will realize that Abhira isn’t important to him. Manisha warns that Abhir can’t live without her, and when Armaan realizes this, he will regret it. She adds that Abhira’s heart is not the right place for him. Vidya continues to watch the video on repeat. Manish wonders where Abhira is. Abhir asks how they’ll find her, wondering if she went to the Poddar house. Swarna says she won’t go there. Manish decides to call Ruhi. Ruhi, Charu, and Daksh arrive and tell them that Abhira hasn’t come to their place. Ruhi expresses her concern.
Abhir recalls Abhira’s words and yells angrily at Charu. She defends Armaan, and he criticizes her family. Charu looks saddened, while Abhir fumes. Ruhi tells him to stop saying hurtful things. Charu leaves, and Manish scolds Abhir for yelling at her, saying she came to ask about Abhira. Abhira notices the man again and hears him scolding someone in the market. She thinks he’s a lawyer. RK, the man, argues with another man and takes money from him, saying he’s done a favor by not hitting him. People around disperse, and RK walks toward his bike, talking to it. Someone informs him that a girl came to return his wallet and left in a car. He says he saved her life, and she took his wallet, so she left in the car. The man provides the car number, and RK thanks him. He hugs him and leaves.
Manisha greets Armaan with celebration poppers and crowns him, saying the ideal son has returned. She does his aarti but later grows angry. Manish brings Abhira home. Ruhi offers her water, and Abhir gifts her a phone. Abhira says Armaan has killed her today, and Ruhi says he did the right thing. Manisha taunts Armaan, and Ruhi tells Abhira not to feel down for Armaan. She says it’s good that Armaan showed his true face; he doesn’t deserve Abhira. Manisha makes Armaan realize his mistake, but he stops her. Manish says Ruhi is right, and that Abhira should stop crying and move forward. He tells her to become the best lawyer.
Manisha says that Abhira will move on, as Armaan has left her alone. She warns him that someone will eventually hold her hand, and he’ll see Abhira with someone else. Armaan feels sad. Manish encourages Abhira to move on, saying love will find its way to her, and forget those who gave her sorrow, insult, and tears. RK enters and says, “I’ve come to take revenge for every year.” Everyone looks at him at the door. RK stumbles and drops his water bottle, asking Abhira to say yes once.
