Anupama 17th January 2025 Written Update
The episode starts with Khyati’s mother-in-law telling Parag that if Anupama leaves, they will be late in preparing Shrinath ji’s bhog and adds that their insult is not bigger than Shrinath ji’s bhog. She asks Khyati to tell her to make the bhog and leave. Rahi arrives and sees Anupama picking up glass pieces, and asks what she is doing. Gautam asks what she was doing in his bedroom. Nita asks if she was in Jamai ji’s room. Rahi explains that she had asked a boy named Badshah about the washroom, and he showed her the way, telling her to use it. Gautam says she asked a boy and used a washroom. Nita taunts them. Prarthana says she knows them, and they are good people. Gautam suggests they should check them as they might have stolen the diamond. Rahi tells him not to say that. Anupama says they can check if something is stolen, but they should check them first. Nita asks, what’s the issue with getting yourself checked first? Rahi responds, asking what’s her problem in counting spoons. Anupama says that while they may not have much money, they have much respect. Parag says he can never forgive Anupama for hurting his mother. Rahi says they have accused her mother of theft, and he will never forget this. He tells them to prepare the bhog as the guests are waiting. Rahi then takes Anupama away.
Toshu tries calling Anupama and tells Babu ji he’s worried because Mummy, Rahi, and Janki behen went to the Kothari house, and says if Prem had gone, he wouldn’t have been worried. Baa reassures him, saying Anupama is wise and knows that they won’t get the payment until the work is done. The neighbors come and ask Baa if Anupama got the Kothari order. Toshu says he’s told them, and starts bluffing that Khyati Kothari is Anupama’s childhood friend and that they will handle Kothari’s orders from now on. The neighbors apologize to Baa if they’ve said anything wrong and mention that they want Anupama to handle the order for their function. Toshu apologizes and refuses to take their order, citing that Kothari’s orders are lined up. He pretends to talk to Anupama and tells her to take more orders. The neighbors tell Baa that they are lucky and leave.
Anupama and Rahi are upset by the behavior of the Kothari family. Anupama says she was happy when Shrinath ji blessed her, but now she’s feeling unwell. Rahi says they should leave after completing the work.
Prarthana hands a charger to Gautam. Gautam twists her hand and threatens her, saying she should not speak again. She cries, thinking that she should have the courage like Anupama and her daughter. She adds that she remains silent thinking about the family’s respect. Ansh talks to the Kothari manager and tells him that he designed the game and doesn’t know who sold the design to them. He claims to know everything about the game and asks to meet the boss. The Manager informs that he likes the design and calls Gautam. Prarthana tells Gautam about the manager’s call. He asks her to pick it up. Prarthana picks it and asks Agarwal about his wife. Gautam takes the call and asks why the manager has called him. The manager tells him about the new gamer he wants to meet for their gaming program. Gautam asks him to call the person to the office and ends the call. The manager tells Ansh that Gautam Kanwar, Parag’s son-in-law, called, and says as soon as Gautam calls, he’ll call Ansh.
Parag and his family are seated for the kite competition. The boy arrives. Khyati’s mother-in-law feeds sweets to the boy. Khyati gifts gold bangles to Nita. Nita likes them and says she wanted heavy bangles. Khyati says she bought them to match with her clothes. Nita jokes that she will wear a heavy saree to match the heavy bangles. Parag and Anil reminisce about their childhood. Guests arrive and greet them. Parag asks if they need anything for the daughter’s marriage. The guest says that it would be great if they could just attend the wedding. Parag asks Anil to remind him that they need to attend the wedding. Khyati’s mother-in-law thinks of them as Ram and Lakshman. The lady asks if they’ve kept the kite competition this year and says that no one can cut Parag’s kite. Anil says maybe someone will give him a tough competition. Parag says it’s not possible. Khyati’s mother-in-law says “Kai Po Che…”
Anupama tells Rahi not to be angry, explaining that they didn’t know the Kotharis well. She says they will complete the work and leave. Parag asks his mother to hold the kite thread roll. Nita asks Khyati if she doesn’t feel bad that he gave the thread roll to his mother instead of his wife. Khyati replies that no, because the mother comes first before the wife. Anupama helps a boy with flying the kite.
