Savi reminds Rajat about the last time she had an exam. Rajat responds that he knows that when she went to take the exam last time, Ishaan was shot, and she witnessed it. Surprised, Savi asks who told him about this. Rajat admits he doesn’t know much about her life, but he knows this particular detail. Savi confesses that she cannot face the exam because it will bring back painful memories, apologizes, and leaves.
At night, Rajat reflects on how to help Savi overcome her trauma. Meanwhile, Kiyaan wakes up from a bad nightmare and asks if he can sleep with Rajat. Rajat agrees but struggles to sleep on the couch with Kiyaan. Seeing this, Ashika suggests that Rajat sleep on the bed with her and Kiyaan, and he agrees.
The next morning, at breakfast, Savi tells Rajat privately that she plans to inform Saisha about her decision not to take the exam. Rajat convinces her to wait one more day before telling Saisha, and she agrees. Later, while feeding Saisha, Savi overhears Ashika mentioning Rajat sleeping on the bed with her and Kiyaan, which upsets her.
While driving together, Rajat explains to Savi that Kiyaan had a bad nightmare, so he stayed with him. Savi dismisses his explanation, saying he doesn’t need to justify his personal life. Rajat takes Savi to a field and sets up a table with a political science question paper from last year. He challenges her to complete it within 2:30 minutes. Savi reminds him that she already told him she won’t take the exam. Rajat comments on her decision, then sits in a chair surrounded by fire. Alarmed, Savi tries to extinguish the flames, but Rajat insists they won’t stop until he commands them to. Savi realizes Lucky is helping Rajat and questions why they’re doing this. Rajat explains that sometimes poison can counter poison and that this is the way for her to face her trauma. He urges her to write the exam, and she reluctantly agrees.
Savi completes the paper in 1:20 minutes and demands Lucky stop the fire. Once the fire is extinguished, she slaps Rajat for his reckless behavior and criticizes him. Rajat points out that she completed the exam faster than expected and asks if she believed she could do it. Savi challenges his methods, but Rajat insists that her becoming an IAS officer is his dream, and he’ll do whatever it takes to help her achieve it. He asks if she will take the exam, and Savi finally agrees, leaving Rajat elated. Lucky, witnessing this, remarks that he’s never seen anything like it.
Rajat returns home, and Ashika announces a surprise for the family: a carrom game night. While the Thakkar family enjoys the game, Ashika’s behavior makes Savi feel excluded and insecure, reinforcing her sense of being an outsider. A few days later, Savi gets ready for the exam, and the Thakkar family gathers to wish her good luck as she heads to the examination center.
