Maati Se Bandhi Dor 14th January 2025 Written Update
The episode begins with Ranvijay scolding Jaya before walking out. Jaya is left in tears. Vaiju notices her trophy and starts crying as well. Ranvijay arrives home and meets Vaiju. She lies to him about the situation. He holds her hand and they discuss Jaya. Vaiju defends Jaya, saying she might be able to forgive her, but Ranvijay cannot. He assures Vaiju that he will make things right. Vaiju expresses her dream of getting an education, and Ranvijay reassures her that he will support her. He hugs her, and they share a cup of tea. Tu hai to mujhe phir aur… plays in the background. Ranvijay asks her how her handwriting ended up on the chit, wondering if she had given her notes to someone else. Vaiju denies it, explaining that her notes were with her, and she had completed Rahil’s notes for him because his mother was sick. She suggests the chit might have come from his book. Ranvijay agrees to let her go ahead with the exam, promising to make sure no one stops her.
The next morning, Vaiju arrives to take her exam. Jaya tells her to leave, but Ranvijay says the principal is here to discuss the matter and asks Rahil about the notes. He pressures Rahil to tell the truth. Rahil apologizes and admits that Vaiju did give him the notes. He explains that he gave them to Siddharth, his childhood friend, and couldn’t speak up when Vaiju got caught. Vaiju reassures him that it’s okay. Siddharth confesses he was scared and had thrown away the chit. Vaiju asks the principal to give Siddharth another chance. Siddharth promises he will never cheat again. Ranvijay asks him to hand over the chits he had hidden. Siddharth complies. Jaya is shocked. The principal decides to give both Vaiju and Siddharth one last chance. Ranvijay encourages Vaiju to do well on her exam. Vaiju thanks him.
That night, Jaya reflects on Ranvijay’s actions and cries, feeling misunderstood. The following morning, Kaveri chats with the other women in the neighborhood. They gossip about Jaya and Ranvijay. Kaveri reprimands them for their behavior and tells them to stop gossiping. Jaya, remembering something important, quickly leaves.
Kunal receives a call from his ex-wife, Dusha. He sighs sadly as he hears her voice. Ranvijay and Vaiju return home with several shopping bags. Sulekha asks what they bought. Vaiju explains that the items are for Jaya and Kunal. Jaya arrives and angrily scolds Ranvijay, telling him to stop coming to her house. She demands to know what their relationship is, saying their relationship is over. She insists she will have no further connection with him. Ranvijay tries to explain that relationships don’t end like that, and he will always be there for her when she needs him. Vaiju says he cares for her as a friend and wants her to be at peace. Jaya accuses him of causing her pain and suffering. She then scolds Vaiju, questioning what she wants from her, since she already has everything. Ranvijay responds that Vaiju has earned everything she has and never took anything that wasn’t hers. Vaiju is hurt by Jaya’s words. The two argue.
Vaiju, in tears, says she will remove herself from Jaya’s life. Jaya tells her she has had enough, that she came to speak with Ranvijay because he insulted her, and she feels deeply hurt. She warns that she could seek revenge, but Ranvijay tells her she can do that if she wants, as Kunal is a well-known lawyer. Jaya then tears up their wedding invite, declaring that she doesn’t want them at her wedding and telling them not to come.
