Mera Balam Thanedaar

Mera Balam Thanedaar 9th September 2024 Written Update

The episode begins with Veer saying he will visit the psychiatrist once. Bulbul, worried that Siddharth sa is present, thinks that if Vani jiji tells Thanedar sa about him, things could go wrong. She quickly stops Veer, telling him that the doctor wanted to meet Vani alone. Veer replies, “No problem, I can meet him as her brother.” Bulbul, panicking, thinks of what to do as he isn’t listening. She follows him, loudly calling Thanedar sa, alerting Siddharth. Veer enters and sees the doctor making Vani write A, B… Bulbul comes in and complains, “Dhristi jiji is bothering me, and you’re here?” Veer leaves the room and asks, “Did Dhristi say something to you?” Bulbul says she is worried about Maasa. Veer reassures her, “Trust your own words, everything will be fine.” He adds, “I’ll meet the doctor and come back.” Bulbul quickly says, “Maasa just called you.” Veer says he didn’t hear it. Just then, Sulakshana calls Veer, asking him to come. Veer remarks he hadn’t heard her the first time. Bulbul returns to the room and tells Siddharth to leave or she’ll need a heart specialist for herself. Vani says that soon she will become a real doctor from a “baby doctor.” Siddharth, happy, says, “You still remember,” and feels joyful. He tells Bulbul that there’s an improvement in Vani, promises to return, and leaves.

Meanwhile, Bulbul overhears the Pandits worrying about Mahant ji and rushes over. The Pandit asks if they’ve added makhana to the food. They respond no, but Dhristi says she included it in the kheer, as per Bulbul’s instructions. She shows the list that Bulbul gave to Sulakshana. Bulbul tries to give Mahant ji pineapple juice, but a lady stops her and scolds her. Bulbul insists, “Right now, we need to think about Mahant ji’s life.” Veer takes Mahant ji in the car. The ladies begin badmouthing Bulbul, accusing her of trying to ruin her sister’s reputation. Dhristi signals Vishesh, who steps in and says that Bulbul doesn’t deserve the keys, calling her childish. He urges her to give the keys to Dhristi. The women pressure Sulakshana to give the keys to Dhristi. Varnika silently wonders why Sulakshana is staying quiet. Sulakshana finally speaks up, declaring that Bulbul could never do something wrong and that she’s never seen a better daughter-in-law. The women insult Sulakshana. Bulbul apologizes to them and begs them not to say anything against Maasa. Vishesh demands that Bulbul hand the keys over to Dhristi and even encourages Dhristi to take the keys from her. Dhristi grabs the keys from Bulbul, who looks at Vishesh in disbelief. Vardhan, observing, thinks that this isn’t right.

Dhristi thanks Bulbul and taunts, “I told you, this keychain would end up with me.” She warns Bulbul not to mess with her again. Bulbul looks at Sulakshana and the others, crying. The Pandit declares that Bulbul deserves a curse, not just punishment, and that her entire family will suffer because of her actions. He says, “She has done wrong, and something bad will happen to her.” The ladies, afraid of being cursed, leave. The Pandit curses Bulbul, saying she will never be happy, and her family will face hardships.

At that moment, Mahant ji arrives, fully recovered. The Pandit asks if he’s feeling well. Veer, thinking of Bulbul, believes she was the reason Mahant ji recovered. A flashback shows Vayu noticing Mahant ji’s improvement and informing Veer. Mahant ji had regained consciousness, and Vayu had commented that Bulbul’s home remedy worked once again. The flashback ends. Mahant ji acknowledges that he has a new lease on life because of Bulbul, while the Pandit had been cursing her. The Pandit argues, “You were in danger because of her.” Mahant ji responds, “What she did is known only to her and her God. I just know that the hands that save lives cannot take them.” He blesses Bulbul, stating that she is auspicious and brings good fortune to the family. He adds that she will protect the family from any harm. Mahant ji gives Bulbul his blessings, saying that she deserves all the happiness and the strength to face any challenges. Bulbul, grateful, touches his feet. Mahant ji and the Pandits leave.

Sulakshana, deeply moved, thanks Bulbul and tells her she will never forget her kindness. She acknowledges that Bulbul turned a curse into a blessing and even touches her feet. Bulbul, embarrassed, says, “What are you doing? I’ll get a sin if you do this.” Sulakshana calls Bulbul a Devi, affirming that she knows Bulbul could never do something so wrong. She says, “I know you didn’t tell Dhristi to put makhana in the food.” Bulbul asks her to keep blessing her and to correct her if she makes any mistakes. Veer comes up to Bulbul and kisses her hand, while Vayu and Varnika are delighted. Dhristi starts to leave, but Bulbul stops her, saying, “I remained silent for the sake of this family’s respect.” She adds, “I never thought you would stoop so low as to risk someone’s life just for a set of keys.” Bulbul reveals that she knew Mahant ji would recover and challenges Dhristi, declaring, “I will take back those keys from you within 24 hours. That’s Bulbul’s promise.”
