Jhanak 14th January 2025 Written Episode
The episode begins with Vihaan expressing his confusion and guilt to Jhanak, feeling upset about the difficulties she’s facing. Jhanak reassures him, mentioning that while Ketki has shared her thoughts with Avni, she herself is not Avni, so Vihaan need not worry. Vihaan insists that Avni is his last love and promises not to make her feel uncomfortable. Jhanak firmly says that she won’t tolerate any disrespect. To avoid further tension, Vihaan suggests sleeping on the balcony, but Jhanak, showing understanding, allows him to stay in the room, saying she doesn’t want to add to his worries. Vihaan thanks her for being so considerate.
Soon after, Ketki assigns Jhanak the task of making ghee, stressing its importance in their household business. She instructs Prachi and Sejal to teach Jhanak everything and expects her to adapt to a villager’s lifestyle. As Jhanak wonders if Vihaan actually went to the airport to pick up Anirudh, she accidentally drops a utensil. Prachi checks on her, but Sejal seizes the opportunity to criticize Jhanak, implying she’s struggling to adapt. When Jhanak questions Sejal’s attitude, Prachi defends her, stating that Jhanak is new to the household and needs time to adjust. Sejal dismissively responds, saying Ketki will never let Vihaan and Ahaan leave the house, and that Jhanak can leave alone if she wishes.
The argument intensifies as Sejal taunts Jhanak, but Priyanshi interrupts, asking for Jhanak’s help with her studies. Sejal warns Priyanshi to stay away from Jhanak to avoid upsetting Ketki. Priyanshi ignores Sejal’s warning, thanks Jhanak for agreeing to help, and leaves. Sejal continues her tirade, declaring that education is meaningless since Jhanak, despite her education, is now just a daughter-in-law. Jhanak confidently responds that there’s no conflict between being educated and fulfilling her responsibilities. Mehek arrives and supports Jhanak, stating that Priyanshi deserves an education. Sejal, however, insists Ketki doesn’t want Priyanshi to study and mocks Jhanak, accusing her of manipulating Vihaan. Jhanak firmly warns Sejal not to insult her parents.
Meanwhile, Lalon and Appu arrive unexpectedly at the house, catching Shubh’s attention. Lalon asserts his authority, suggesting Tanuja and Shubh move to a flat to maintain their dignity. The conversation shifts to Anjana’s birthday, which Lalon insists should be celebrated despite the family’s traditional reluctance to acknowledge daughter-in-law birthdays. The family disagrees, with Bipasha and Laal refusing to participate. Lalon, however, stands firm, demanding that Tanuja and Bipasha must cook for the celebration if they want to stay in the house. Bipasha, frustrated, vows to move out with Laal, blaming Shubh for the turmoil.
Back at Ketki’s house, Sejal resumes her complaints, but Prachi intervenes, urging everyone to live in harmony. Ketki enters, demanding her tea and criticizing her daughters-in-law and daughter for their lack of attentiveness. Jhanak immediately heads to the kitchen to make the tea. At that moment, Vihaan returns with Anirudh, much to Jhanak’s delight. Vihaan introduces Jhanak as his wife. Anirudh is taken aback.
