Udne Ki Aasha 14th January 2025 Written Update
The episode begins with Riya questioning why Sachin is lying. Akash suggests that maybe Sayali told him about it. Tejas questions Sachin, but he continues to lie. Roshni tells Sachin not to shout at Tejas and says that Renu got insulted because Sayali and Sachin didn’t tell anyone about their issues. Renu claims they are trying to cover up their mistakes, calling Sachin a regular visitor to the police station and suggesting that Sayali might be aware of these problems. She insults both Sachin and Sayali’s earnings and status, asking if they’ve started this illegal business. Everyone is taken aback. Sayali demands to know how Renu can accuse her like that.
Shubha starts crying. Renu claims that she is not wrong, mentioning that Juhi was trying to trap Akash, and that he is fortunate to have a good, wealthy girl like Riya. Sayali explains that Akash and Juhi are just good friends and encourages Renu to ask Akash directly. Shubha tells Sayali to stay calm. Sachin tells Paresh to stop Renu, then asks Shubha to come with him so he can drop her home. Renu stops Shubha, and Sachin questions why she would need to answer Renu. Renu accuses Shubha and Juhi of running the store when they went to the village and suggests they’ve been lying. Sayali tells Renu that enough is enough, but Renu continues to degrade them, accusing Shubha of making her children steal, even claiming that her son had stolen Sachin’s bike. Renu insists that Shubha makes her son rob people. Shubha cries bitterly and asks Renu to spare her.
Shubha gets dizzy, and Sayali holds her in worry. Shubha faints, and Paresh asks Riya to bring water. Renu dismisses it as a drama, but Paresh tells her to leave. Sayali helps Shubha sit up and gives her water. Shubha slowly regains consciousness. Sachin asks if she’s okay, and she nods.
Back at the chawl, Sayali advises Shubha to rest. Sachin says he’ll wait outside. Sayali agrees, and Sachin tells Shubha to call him if she needs anything. He asks Sayali to stay with Shubha. Sayali insists she’ll come along, but he leaves. Shubha asks Sayali not to argue with Renu and to let her anger settle. She asks Sayali to promise her not to engage with Renu. Sayali refuses, saying that Renu has to fulfill her duties as a Saas just as she fulfills hers as a Bahu. Shubha asks her to calm her mind, explaining that every girl has to tolerate such things. Sayali refuses to accept it and tells Juhi to never tolerate wrongdoings. Shubha discourages Juhi from taking this path, but Juhi supports Sayali, saying that they have to fight for their rights. Shubha insists she only wants Sayali to be happy with Sachin, and Sayali leaves.
At home, Sachin becomes downhearted and recalls his promise to be a good husband. He looks at the mangalsutra, recalling how happy he was when he bought it for Sayali. Sayali comes in and asks if he’s upset. He admits that he’s upset with himself, stating that he failed to listen to her, failed to protect her, and failed to be a good husband. She reassures him, saying she knows he’s worried and that she understands. Sachin says he will make Chandu apologize if he ever sees him again. Sayali tells him to calm down, as the police will find Chandu. She suggests they eat together, but he refuses. She checks the mangalsutra and asks what it is. He stops her and says he doesn’t deserve to give it to her, urging her to look at it. She gazes at it, deeply moved.
She tells him that he worked hard for it and that it means a lot to her. He insists it’s useless because he wasn’t able to protect her. Sayali reassures him that he’s a good husband and has always stood by her. Sachin is glad and asks if she likes it. She nods and says she has a plan. He asks what it is, and she says she won’t reveal it yet. He promises to wait. She says it’s a beautiful mangalsutra.
The next morning, Sayali heads to work, but Renu stops her, insisting she close the stall outside. Sayali refuses. Renu demands she shut it, but Sayali stands her ground. Sachin arrives, and Renu questions how they dare refuse her. Sayali replies that she won’t shut her stall because of Chandu’s issues. Tejas asks her to shut it, but Sachin defends Sayali and tells Tejas to stay out of it. Paresh enters and asks what’s happening. Sachin explains that Renu is overacting and wants Sayali to close her store, despite her having done nothing wrong. Paresh asks Renu not to insist. Renu insists that she wants the store closed because she cares for her bahus and doesn’t want problems for them. Riya counters, asking if she wanted Riya to quit her job when Raghav attacked her. Renu’s hypocrisy is clear, but Sayali argues that women shouldn’t have to fear men like Chandu and Raghav. Renu dismisses the conversation, demanding Sayali close her stall, but Sayali remains firm, saying she won’t shut her store. Sachin smiles as Sayali stands strong.
