Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 14th January 2025 Written Update
The episode begins with Abhira arriving at Poddar house. She reads the comments written on the wall and says, “I never wanted this to happen to Vidya, it’s wrong, I’m sorry, I know you don’t agree with this.” Abhir says, “I wanted justice, but not like this. I know Armaan worked hard to convince you, and you are crazy for him. I know you both will be separated after this case. You love him so much, but I’m not so insensitive and heartless. I’m with you.” Abhira hugs him and thanks him. Dadi gets upset and says, “No one will celebrate the festival until Vidya comes back.” Krish says, “We don’t want to celebrate either.” Aryan and Charu mention that they already told their friends they won’t be celebrating. Manisha asks, “Won’t we do the puja tomorrow?” Dadi tells her to go outside and look at the comments on the wall. She insists that no puja will happen until Vidya returns. “Where is Madhav?” she asks. Rohit responds, “He’s gone to Delhi to meet the minister.” She then asks, “Where is Armaan?” Sanjay says, “Armaan needs time to process Abhira’s betrayal, he can’t help Vidya right now.”
Abhira rushes to meet an ACP and several lawyers, but no one agrees to help Vidya. She spots a minister and hurries towards him. A little boy runs after a kite and is about to get into danger. Abhira notices and rushes to save him. Armaan is waiting to meet the minister. The PA tells him that the minister has gone to pick up his son from school. Abhira urges the guard to watch the boy on the road. As she runs to rescue the child, the minister looks for his son, Aryan. Armaan argues with the PA, who taunts him about Vidya’s case and Abhira’s behavior. Armaan punches him in anger. The PA screams for security, and Abhira successfully saves the boy. The minister asks his son if he is fine, and Aryan says yes, she saved him. The minister thanks Abhira and offers to help. He gives her his visiting card. Meanwhile, the guards approach Armaan. Armaan warns them off, but the PA says, “Your mother will never be released from jail now.” Armaan storms off. Abhira approaches the minister again, pleading for his help in Vidya’s case. He hesitates but eventually agrees, after Aryan convinces him. Abhira thanks both of them profusely.
Armaan returns home and is heartbroken seeing the negative comments on the gate. Abhira comes to Poddar house early the next morning and washes off the remarks. Armaan, thinking he is dreaming, sees her at the gate. He closes his eyes, and when he opens them, she’s gone. He wonders why he keeps seeing her. He steps outside and sees a Rangoli at the gate. Rohit comes running and hugs him, saying, “You did it! I knew you would bring mom back.” Dadi thanks Armaan. Armaan says, “I didn’t do anything.” Manisha adds, “You did, I hope everyone has a son like you.” Rohit urges Armaan to get ready.
Armaan goes to the jail to pick up Vidya, tears of joy in his eyes. Abhira watches from a distance, also in tears. Armaan says, “It’s so cold here, let me cover you with this shawl and bring you some hot tea.” Vidya exits the jail, and Armaan hugs her. Abhira watches, feeling distressed, and recalls Armaan’s words. Armaan wraps Vidya in the shawl and tells her to come home, as the family is excited to see her. Abhira whispers to herself, “Mum isn’t reacting. She doesn’t look well.” Armaan helps Vidya into the car.
At home, Dadi urges Manoj and Sanjay to call Armaan and ask him to bring Vidya home soon. Rohit tells her to relax, while Sanjay informs her that Armaan is on his way. Manoj adds that Madhav is stuck at the Delhi airport. Vidya arrives home, and everyone rushes to welcome her. Dadi performs her tilak, and Rohit, Dadi, and others embrace Vidya. Vidya seems numb. Armaan suggests she rest, but Dadi insists she should do the aarti first. Armaan looks at Vidya, deeply concerned. Vidya and the family proceed with the puja. Manish enters and tells Armaan that Abhira played a role in getting Vidya released. Armaan retorts, “Do you think Vidya will forgive her? No, Abhira doesn’t care about my mum. What does she think of herself?” Manish says, “I just came to check on Vidya, I didn’t want to get into this.” Vidya, lost in thought, drops the aarti plate. Dadi and Armaan ask her what’s wrong. Vidya says, “I’m not fine or happy. Even though I’m home, it feels like I’m still in that dark jail.” Dadi urges her to rest, but Vidya refuses. Armaan insists, but Vidya remains firm. Everyone leaves. Vidya tells Armaan, “You have to take revenge on Abhira. People have labeled me a criminal, and Abhira made me suffer. You need to promise me, I’ve endured this because of her, and now she will pay.” Armaan is stunned.
