Jhanak

Jhanak 9th September 2024 Written Episode

The episode begins with Bablu being worried, while Shubh acts innocent. Tanuja says, “You should not have allowed Lalon to apply the sindoor.” Anjana says, “Appu has to accept the truth, she is Lalon’s wife now.” Dadi laments, “I explained everything to you all, but no one listened.” Choton asks, “Did we misunderstand him?” Anirudh suggests, “We should head to the police station.” Bablu leaves with him. Shrishti tells Arshi to stop Anirudh. Arshi responds, “He won’t stop, this is Jhanak’s drama time, she will be the first to show she’s great.” Overhearing this, Jhanak says, “You have a narrow mindset. I’m going because I love Appu, and Lalon hasn’t done anything wrong.” She insists that someone else is behind this and vows to expose the culprit. “Think about it, why would Lalon be blamed suddenly on his wedding day?” Choton says, “We should go.” Jhanak advises Appu, “Don’t cry.”

She continues, “We know Lalon is being framed. I have a strong feeling about who is behind it.” She glances at Shubh. Meanwhile, at the police station, protesters gather. Shubh tries to calm them down, saying, “I will talk to the commissioner, I’m a lawyer. Let the police do their job.” Appu is worried. Anjana reassures her, “They’ve just brought him here to talk, they won’t beat him.” Lalon argues with the inspector. Shubh, on a call with the commissioner, thanks him and says, “We will arrest Lalon.” Shubh deceives Bablu and everyone else by acting kind. He says, “This is all happening because of Lalon.” Anirudh encourages the others to trust him, saying, “No one can touch Lalon if he’s innocent.” Jhanak tries to calm everyone, “Don’t worry, I’ll go in and talk. This is my responsibility.” Appu says, “I’ll come with you.” Jhanak replies, “Lalon is part of our family, so we have the right to know the truth.” Anuradha appreciates her, “Thanks for speaking on our behalf.”

Anuradha explains their difficult past, “We had our own house, car, and respect. Lalon’s father was a prominent lawyer, but his friends betrayed him and framed him in a false case.” She starts to cry, “He always fought for others but lost his own battle. He was broken and tired, stopped eating, and fell into depression. He was against suicide, but he eventually gave up. I wanted Lalon to avenge him, but he refused and was framed in another false case. He doesn’t deserve this. We are honest people; we may die, but we won’t resort to greed. We survive on what Lalon earns, he’s not a thief.” The crowd continues protesting. Anirudh insists, “Trust me, I’ll go talk to them.” Shubh volunteers, “I’ll come with you.” Jhanak immediately intervenes, “No, you won’t.” He responds, “You’re an outsider, don’t interfere.” Jhanak argues with him and asks the inspector to let Lalon’s family know what’s going on. Anirudh says, “Appu is my sister, Bablu is her father, and Shubh is a well-known lawyer. He will speak to the inspector.” Shubh tries to dissuade Bablu from going, but Jhanak insists, “Bablu will come. I can talk to Bablu and Anjana, they consider me their daughter, and we deserve to know the truth.” Shubh finally relents, “Fine, then handle it yourself. I’ll leave.” Bablu pleads, “No, please, you must come with us.” Shubh agrees and says, “I’ll talk to them.” Jhanak questions him, “Why would you go alone? I will protest with the crowd if we aren’t allowed.” Shubh once again tries to calm the situation, and they all head inside. Lalon asks Appu, “Do you trust me?” She replies, “Yes.” He assures her, “Then no one can frame me.” Commissioner Bhattacharya arrives, and Lalon greets him. Jhanak stands by Lalon’s side.

Shubh remarks, “The whole family is in turmoil.” Bablu turns to Bhattacharya, “Please help us, Lalon is a good man.” Choton arrives and vouches for Lalon, “I know him well. I’m Shubh’s younger brother, and I guarantee Lalon’s innocence. You can ask me anything about him.” Bhattacharya replies, “Okay.” Anuradha chimes in, “You said you knew my husband. You must know he was a good man.” Bhattacharya responds, “I was about to play a recording for you all.” Jhanak quickly asks, “Is this connected to the case?” He replies, “Yes. You’re impatient, but listen, and you will understand.”

Anuradha firmly states, “My son is not a thief.” Kajal supports her, “Lalon can’t do this.” Chimli adds, “Lalon is sincere.” Bhattacharya calmly says, “We only look at evidence.” Appu, feeling exhausted, says, “Then play the recording quickly. I haven’t eaten, and I’m feeling sleepy.” Bhattacharya agrees, “Okay, we will let Lalon go.” She smiles, “You’re a good police officer.” Anirudh urges him to hurry up. Anuradha suspiciously asks, “How do you know my husband’s name?” Bhattacharya cryptically replies, “Those who need to know, know. A person may die, but their name and deeds live on.” He plays the recording, and they hear Shubh and Lal talking to Bhattacharya, conspiring to stop the wedding. Everyone is left in shock.
