Jhanak 11th January 2025 Written Episode
The episode begins with Prachi and Sejal bringing Jhanak downstairs for the introductions. Ketki presents Jhanak to Pandit ji and the guests, mentioning that Jhanak prepared all the food but warns that it might not taste good since Jhanak is from abroad. She encourages everyone to taste the food and give their honest opinion. Vihaan’s father suggests Ketki relax and let the guests eat. Pandit ji asks about the muh dikhai ceremony, and Vihaan’s father confirms it is scheduled for tomorrow. Ketki scolds Jhanak for not serving food quickly enough, prompting Jhanak to begin serving the guests.
As Pandit ji starts eating, Ketki criticizes Jhanak’s cooking, claiming she made backup food because she expected Jhanak’s food to be subpar. She reprimands Jhanak and tells Vihaan that his wife lacks skills. Pandit ji intervenes, asking Ketki to calm down, and surprises everyone by praising the food, saying it reminds him of his mother’s cooking, and even Ketki couldn’t cook as well. Jhanak humbly responds that she can never match Ketki’s abilities, but Pandit ji assures her she is truly blessed by God. The guests, including Mehek’s husband Praveen Kumar, praise Jhanak’s cooking. Prachi encourages Jhanak to serve the rest of the food, but Ketki insists she do it alone. However, Praveen supports Mehek helping Jhanak.
Meanwhile, Aditya tells Anirudh that he believes Jhanak is alive. Anirudh questions why she hasn’t reached out to anyone. Aditya speculates that she might be in trouble. When Arshi arrives, Anirudh ends the call. Arshi asks if there’s any news about Jhanak and insists she genuinely cares. She reveals her pregnancy and says she doesn’t wish harm upon anyone. Arshi admits she loves Anirudh and cannot see him stressed, adding that she knows he stays with her out of a sense of responsibility.
Back at the dining table, Vihaan’s father defends his son’s choice of Jhanak as a wife, expressing confidence in her ability to fulfill her role as the daughter-in-law. Bhavesh agrees, but Hitesh counters that cooking alone isn’t enough; Jhanak must also excel in their milk business. Prachi reassures everyone that Jhanak will learn, but Ketki questions when that will happen. Vihaan steps in, asking Ketki to give Jhanak a fair chance, suggesting she might even take pride in her. Ketki reluctantly agrees. Pandit ji compliments Vihaan for choosing a wonderful wife and asks Jhanak to serve sweets, which earn further praise, much to Ketki’s frustration.
Arshi confides in Anirudh that she needs to stay happy for the baby’s health but feels overwhelmed by the family’s issues. She acknowledges Anirudh’s lingering love for Jhanak and questions if he can love two people at once. Anirudh avoids answering, urging her to rest instead.
Later, Vihaan tells Akshar that he can’t predict how Jhanak might react. Akshar reassures him that she likely won’t react negatively. In the kitchen, Prachi follows Jhanak, complimenting her efforts. Jhanak expresses concern over Priyanshi’s young age and opposes her marriage. Prachi admits Ketki’s decision is final but pleads with Jhanak to intervene, promising her gratitude if she stops Priyanshi’s wedding. Jhanak asks Prachi to trust her.
In a private conversation, Jhanak confesses to Vihaan that she feels overwhelmed. Vihaan promises to explain his family dynamics and their relationship with Avni. He mentions that Jhanak can stay with Ahaan in their room and reveals he invited his friend Anirudh to her muh dikhai ceremony, leaving Jhanak shocked. As Vihaan leaves, Jhanak turns to God, seeking guidance.
