Mangal Lakshmi 10th January 2025 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with Mangal receiving a call from the kids. Mangal answers the video call. Ishana and Akshat ask if they are disturbing her. Mangal replies no. She tells Akshat and Ishana that she was just thinking about them. Mangal then shows them the swimming pool. Akshat spots Adit behind Mangal and calls for him. Adit joins the video call and talks to the kids. Akshat asks Adit to take care of Mangal. Mangal assures them that her shield is with her and asks them not to worry. Mangal shows them the bracelet with Akshat and Ishana’s photos in the locket. Akshat and Ishana tell Mangal to be careful. Later, Mangal confides in Ishana and Akshat, expressing her worries about cooking for 147 foreign guests. Ishana reassures her and tells her not to worry, as she can handle it. Mangal agrees.

Adit, while removing his shirt, accidentally tears it. Mangal, noticing his struggle, offers to help by stitching it. Adit agrees, and Mangal fixes his shirt.

The next day, the driver takes Mangal and Adit to the venue. The driver receives a call informing him that his son is in the hospital, and he apologizes to Mangal and Adit, saying he can’t take them to the venue as he needs to be with his son. Adit asks the driver to drop them off at the venue, so they don’t end up stranded. After hearing about the driver’s situation, Mangal kindly suggests they get out of the car so the driver can go to the hospital. Mangal and Adit get out of the car, and Adit calls for a new cab.

Meanwhile, Sowmya notices that the smoke has no effect on Kusum. She decides to investigate further. Sowmya places a pan on the stove with mirchi to create smoke and hides in the kitchen. Shanthi starts choking from the smoke. Kusum comes in, turns off the stove, and checks on Shanthi. Shanthi reassures Kusum that she’s fine. Sowmya observes that Kusum seems unaffected by the smoke, confirming her suspicion that Kusum has been deceiving her.

Mangal feels a stone in her slipper and tries to shake it out. As she does, her shoe falls far away. She goes to retrieve it. While this is happening, Sowmya calls Adit to talk over the phone. Adit gets into the cab without noticing that Mangal hasn’t joined him. The cab leaves without Mangal.

Mangal tries to chase after the cab but is unable to catch it. She starts walking on foot. Mangal sees a car passing by, and the woman inside recognizes her. The woman directs her driver to give Mangal incorrect directions. Mangal follows the wrong directions, thinking they will lead her to the venue.

Sowmya talks to Adit on the phone, claiming that Mangal and Kusum had conspired together for Mangal to enter the house. Adit tells Sowmya to stop overthinking and insists that Kusum would never do such a thing.

Adit later realizes that Mangal is not in the cab. He scolds the driver for not noticing Mangal and they head back to find her.

Mangal begins to wonder why she hasn’t reached the venue yet. She is shown lost in the woods.

Adit reaches the place where he and Mangal got into the cab, feeling anxious about her whereabouts. After a while, he concludes that Mangal will find her way to the venue somehow, and decides to continue on his way.

At the hospital, Gayatri notices Raghuveer has brought Karthik outside for some fresh air. Gayatri keeps them busy while her henchman kidnaps Lakshmi. He puts Lakshmi into a gunny sack, places it in the car trunk, and takes her away.

Jia praises Sanjana for convincing Gayatri to kill Lakshmi. Sanjana responds coldly, telling Jia that she got rid of Lakshmi for her, and now it’s Jia’s turn to honor their agreement. Sanjana tells Jia that after she marries Karthik, the control of the house should be in her hands. Jia agrees.

Meanwhile, Gayatri’s henchman buries Lakshmi alive in the woods.

Karthik, worried about Lakshmi, calls Umesh and asks him to find out where she is. Umesh agrees.

Umesh questions Gayatri if she knows anything about Lakshmi’s whereabouts. Gayatri feigns ignorance and pretends not to care. Umesh, frustrated, says he will contact the police, but Sanjana and Gayatri stop him, claiming it could complicate Karthik’s case. Sanjana scolds Gayatri for her absent-mindedness.

Karthik, from the hospital, calls Jia and asks her what she has done to Lakshmi. Jia brushes him off, saying she hasn’t done anything and hangs up.

Umesh and the entire family meet with Karthik. Karthik questions them about Lakshmi’s whereabouts. Umesh says they haven’t been able to find her. Karthik, distressed, decides to go search for her. Just as Karthik is about to fall, Lakshmi appears and catches him. Jia, who had come to visit Karthik, witnesses this.
