Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 9th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Manish walking down the road, lost in thoughts of Akshu. He breaks down, crying, as he reflects on the situation. He says, “Abhira and Ruhi are sisters.” Meanwhile, Abhira stumbles, but Ruhi catches the bowls and helps her. Ruhi teases, “You’re getting married, and you look happy.” Abhira smiles and responds, “A lot, and that’s why you’re making such a bitter face.”
Back at home, Manish arrives, but he collapses and starts crying. He laments, “You called me, but I didn’t speak to you. I could have learned the truth about Abhira. Please forgive me.” Just then, Swarna and Surekha enter the house, shocked to see him lying on the ground. They rush to his side, panicking, and ask if he’s okay.
Abhira, sensing something is wrong, says, “I don’t feel good; I’m scared.” Armaan enters and, seeing her worry, asks, “What happened to you? Should we go to the hospital?” Abhira replies, “No, take me to Manish.” They quickly leave for the Goenka house.
A doctor examines Manish and informs them, “He looks unwell; he could suffer cardiac arrest at any moment. I’ll call for an ambulance.” Swarna, distressed, says, “Nothing will happen to Manish.” Armaan and Abhira arrive at the house, and Abhira, terrified, rushes upstairs, shouting, “Parnanu!” She sees Manish and screams for him again. Armaan watches, clearly worried. Abhira desperately asks, “What happened to you?”
Armaan suggests, “We should take him to the hospital.” Abhira holds Manish close. He slowly opens his eyes. Abhira, trying to lighten the moment, says, “This isn’t fair; you already look dashing, isn’t that enough? You’re doing this just to get more attention. We’re here now, are you happy? Get up.” Manish looks at her, and she consoles him gently. Swarna, deeply affected, recalls his words from earlier. The doctor, seeing the improvement, says, “The ambulance has arrived, but he seems to be stable now. How did this happen?” Abhira smiles and replies, “That’s our little secret.” The doctor, relieved, says, “I’ll send the ambulance away.”
Surekha thanks Abhira for her support. Abhira asks, “Should I stay here for a while?” Armaan gently intervenes, saying, “I’ll bring you back here if anything comes up. Let’s go home now.” Swarna adds, “Stop, Abhira. Don’t say anything to Ruhi; she gets too worried.” Abhira nods and agrees, “Okay.”
Back home, Dadi compliments Abhira and Armaan, “You did a great job with the function. Here’s your prize.” Abhira notices a note. Dadi says, “I thought this would make you happy. It’s a list of the things needed for tomorrow’s rasams. I thought Abhira would manage it.” She explains, “Traditionally, both the bride’s and groom’s families exchange gifts.” Kiara eagerly asks, “Will we get gifts too?” Dadi smiles and says, “That depends on Abhira.”
Armaan, sensing the pressure on Abhira, asks Dadi, “Why are you doing this? You know her situation.” Dadi replies, “She said her parents’ blessings are with her, and she will manage. Let me know if you have any concerns.” Abhira, determined, says, “Thank you for your support, but both the rasams will take place tomorrow.” Everyone claps in response to Dadi’s words.
Sanjay speaks up, “Abhira can’t handle these rasams alone. Gifts aren’t enough; the girl’s family has to participate too.” Dadi adds, “Yes, I forgot. You don’t have any family here. How will you perform this rasam?” Armaan steps forward and says, “I am her family.” But Dadi counters, “You aren’t her Maayka. She said she would handle the rasam herself.” Armaan protests, “You’re being unfair.” But before he can continue, Abhira stops him, signaling her resolve to handle the situation.
