Jhanak 8th January 2025 Written Episode
Ketki performs aarti for Vihaan and Jhanak. The aarti plate accidentally hits Jhanak’s head, causing her to scream. Ketki taunts Jhanak for not handling this minor pain. She then takes Ahaan from Jhanak, and Ahaan begins crying. Ketki claims Jhanak taught him this behavior. Bhavesh asks her what a small baby would know. She responds that she doesn’t understand the power of motherhood. She claims that a mother can make her son do anything. Prachi asks Jhanak to come inside. Sejal admires Jhanak’s saree and asks if she bought it in America. Sarika tells Sejal that it’s actually her saree. She mentions that it’s not easy to manage a baby while wearing a saree, and people in America don’t wear sarees daily. Prachi compliments Jhanak on her beauty.
Vihaan murmurs to Jhanak not to feel bad. Jhanak asks him why she should feel bad, especially since she is not Avni. Ketki scolds Jhanak for murmuring like that. She asks Vihaan whether he has not explained the house rules to his wife. She reminds Jhanak that this is a farmer’s house, with cows to take care of. She tells Jhanak that getting married is easy, but living in an in-laws’ house is not. She adds that the “Jhanak test” begins today. She walks inside, followed by the men.
Prachi introduces herself to Jhanak and reassures her not to be scared. She expresses trust that Jhanak will pass the test. Jhanak wonders how long she will have to stay there. Sejal introduces herself and informs Jhanak that from tomorrow, Jhanak will have to handle all the household chores. Prachi tells Sejal not to scare Jhanak.
Meanwhile, Bipasha tells Laal that she can no longer stay in the house. She complains that Lalon has ordered her to do household chores. Laal advises her to ignore Lalon. She scolds him for not standing up for her. He tells her that Lalon is new to money, and once Lalon has spent it all, he will leave. She insists that this is not her concern. He asks her where they could stay, and she suggests buying a flat. He tells her that he cannot afford it. She accuses him of not being able to do anything. He asks her to calm down. She then reveals she has an idea to earn extra money. He warns her that it is illegal and could land him in jail. She calls him a coward and threatens to leave if he doesn’t agree. He tells her he can’t do that and walks away. She mutters that she is tired of everything.
Priyanshi asks Jhanak if she can help her with studies. Jhanak agrees. Sejal warns Jhanak that Ketki will scold her. Riddhi informs Jhanak that Priyanshi secretly dances and has signed up for a dance event under her name. Priyanshi then asks Jhanak if she will come to her school to watch her dance. Prachi scolds Priyanshi for talking about dance again. Jhanak asks if it is wrong to dance. Priyanshi asks if Jhanak knows how to dance. Jhanak recalls her past performances and replies that she knows a little bit.
Anjana says she will cook, while Bablu plans to go to the bazaar. Lalon tells Shubhankar to go instead. Shubhankar says Bablu is the expert in shopping and that he doesn’t know anything about it. Lalon insists that Shubhankar should go and learn. He asks Tanuja to make breakfast. Aniruddh asks for tea from Anjana. Lalon tells Aniruddh to ask Tanuja from now on. He remarks that Aniruddh might feel bad seeing his parents like this, but Aniruddh says he won’t feel bad. Meanwhile, Mimi meets Dr. Sen and shares her family problems.
Prachi offers food to Jhanak, but Jhanak says she is not hungry. Prachi informs Jhanak that she will have no time to eat since guests and neighbors will come to meet her. Sejal asks Jhanak if people in her house wear jeans and shirts when they work. Jhanak remains silent. Sejal tells Jhanak that she won’t be able to rest and will have to take care of the household chores. Prachi tells Sejal not to scare Jhanak. Sejal asks Jhanak about her family. Jhanak thinks she doesn’t know anything about Avni’s family. Prachi mentions hearing that Jhanak’s mother is unwell. Sejal asks how long Jhanak plans to stay there. She says that Ketki is planning to keep Jhanak and Ahaan there.
Prachi tells Sejal that Vihaan will make the final decision. Sejal reveals that Babuji is planning to open a clinic for Vihaan there and asks what Jhanak will do. Jhanak replies that she will do whatever she is told. Sejal asks about Jhanak’s siblings. Jhanak replies that she is an only child. Prachi says she heard Jhanak has siblings. Sejal suspects something is off and says Jhanak sounds scared.
