Anupama 9th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Anupama mentioning that she found some flowers in the Almira, washed them, and is reusing them. Sagar comments that everyone is busy working. Anupama cheerfully responds that Bappa is coming. Mahi tells Ishu that Bappa will bring them a lot of happiness. Anupama admires how the kids are speaking positively and working hard, asking if Baa gives them Kesar milk. Ishu replies that they enjoy Kesar milk. They then call Kinjal, reminding her to come home, or else Toshu will scold them. Kinjal boldly replies that she’ll handle anyone who dares to scold them. Anupama asks what’s troubling Kinjal. Kinjal reveals that she doesn’t like fighting, but Toshu has left her with no other choice. Anupama advises that every woman should know when to remain silent and when to speak up. Kinjal agrees and says now is the time to speak up. Anupama emphasizes that no one should cross the line. Kinjal laughs and cracks a joke. Just then, Baa arrives with dry fruits for the Prasad. Anupama praises Baa’s timing and asks her to help take care of Bappa. Babu ji commends Baa for doing the right thing. Anuj smiles as he watches Anupama, who is also smiling, interacting with the kids and Baa. Anupama removes the evil eye from them, and then from Anuj, seeing him.
Meanwhile, Pakhi complains that Toshu is so annoying and that nobody listens to her. Aadhya enters and asks Pakhi to hand over the Toran, inviting her to join if she wishes. Pakhi declines, saying she has no interest in associating with “beggars.” Aadhya comments that Pakhi is still as arrogant as ever. Pakhi fires back, asking Aadhya if she’s forgotten her own behavior and sarcastically tells her to take her father away from her mother, accusing her of ruining lives. Aadhya calmly responds that she once thought the same but now realizes that her mother actually makes life better. Meenu arrives, and Aadhya asks her to bring the Toran before walking away. Meenu asks Pakhi if she said something to Aadhya. Pakhi replies that she saw what they were doing and adds that status doesn’t change with clothes. Meenu brushes off her comment and leaves. Pakhi then decides to inform Toshu about Meenu and Sagar.
Anuj begins playing the drum and singing “Shri Ganesha.” Baa and Babu ji warn Toshu not to ruin the festival, or he’ll get beaten worse than the dhol. Anupama and Anuj dance joyfully to welcome Bappa. Afterward, Anuj and Anupama perform the aarti, followed by Baa, Babu ji, and others. Toshu, meanwhile, looks at a picture of Meenu and Sagar and comments that, for once, Pakhi did something right. Just then, Dolly arrives. Anupama, delighted, hugs her and remarks that she hasn’t seen her in years, saying that Dolly’s presence has doubled the happiness.
However, Dolly confronts Anupama, accusing her of wanting to ruin Meenu’s life to take revenge on her brother. She says that Meenu has always seen Anupama as a mother, but Anupama has proven that a Mami is only a Mami and not a Maa. Anupama, confused, asks what Dolly means by that. Dolly refuses to explain further since Bappa is present but warns Anupama to stay away from her daughter’s life, asserting that she will make the decisions for Meenu. Meenu, surprised, asks why her mother is speaking this way. Dolly sternly warns her and then leaves with Meenu. Babu ji asks Anupama if she’s okay. Anupama, with teary eyes, wonders why Dolly said such things. Baa suggests they should leave, but Babu ji insists that they take the Prasad, or the puja will remain incomplete. He speculates that Toshu, Pakhi, or Vanraj may have poisoned Dolly’s mind and assures Anupama that he’ll talk to her. Aadhya, disappointed, thinks that her plans for pops and Mummy have been ruined by Dolly’s actions. Dolly, on the other hand, takes Meenu home, asserting that she knows the full truth. Meenu tries to explain that Dolly was misinformed and insists on returning for the Prasad, as the puja will be incomplete without it.
Sagar expresses to Bala that Meenu’s mother unfairly scolded Anupama, even though she knows nothing about the situation. Bala advises Sagar to wait for a better moment to address the issue since Anupama is already feeling down. Anuj reassures Anupama not to worry. Anupama then hands out chocolates as gifts to the kids. When she offers a gift to Aadhya, Aadhya says she wants something else. She asks them to reunite as a couple. Aadhya admits that Anupama and Anuj separated because of her but now realizes they should reunite for the sake of love, not just her happiness. She acknowledges her mistake and urges them not to suffer because of her foolishness, asking them to marry each other again. Aadhya insists that they are incomplete without each other, and they should prioritize their love. She tells Anupama that Anuj could never smile without her and used to hide his pain. She adds that no one can take Anupama’s place, not even Shru, and that Anuj still loves and cares for her deeply. Aadhya reflects that when they became parents, their relationship as a couple took a backseat, and they started living only for her. Babu ji agrees that parents live for their children. Aadhya says she wants to see Anuj and Anupama as Maan again, smiling and happy together. She urges them to get married again. Anuj and Anupama get emotional.
Aadhya holds Radhakrishna idol lockets and asks them to be united forever. She says that when Anupama and Anuj got married, all three of their children were there except for her, and that’s why she wants to witness their marriage. She asks them to make each other wear the lockets and finalize their wedding plans. The family joins in, encouraging Anupama to agree. They both reminisce about their past moments together. Babu ji remarks that now it’s up to Anupama and Anuj to decide. Anuj turns to Anupama, agreeing with their daughter and saying that it’s time they stop being separated. He points out that even their daughter has realized they should be together as a family. Anuj acknowledges the misunderstandings and the ups and downs in their relationship but asks if Anupama can’t forgive him and give their relationship another chance. He wonders what’s holding her back and assures her, swearing on Aadhya, that if Anupama and Anuj reunite this time, nothing will break their bond, and they will stay together for the rest of their lives. He urges her to think about it, saying that Kanha ji brought them together for a reason. He adds that their daughter, God, and the family all want them to reunite, so what is she still thinking about?
