Jagriti

Jagriti 8th January 2025 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with Jaggu asking Harish what happened. Harish responds, saying, “I didn’t shoot him, I’m not a murderer.” Akash notices the curtain moving and goes to investigate. Harish pleads, “I didn’t kill your father, trust me.” Inspector Singh arrives with the constables and sees Amol lying shot. He questions Harish, asking if he shot Amol. Harish denies, “I didn’t shoot him.” Sapna accuses, “He shot Papa.” Harish insists, “I am innocent.” Meanwhile, Kalindi is in a car. Someone approaches her and hands over a bag of evidence that was taken from Amol’s house. Kalindi praises the person, saying, “Well done.”

Inspector Singh informs Gita that Amol is dead. Sapna bursts into tears. Gita is stunned and rushes to console Sapna. She demands to know, “What did you do, Harish?” Harish again denies, “I didn’t shoot him, Gita.” Akash takes Jaggu aside and tells her that someone else must have shot Amol, as there was evidence in the form of a broken pot and mud stains on the floor. He is convinced that someone else was hiding and did the shooting.

Kalindi is seen taking pictures of the evidence and transferring it to her laptop and a pen drive. She calls Madan and says she will soon make Sarkar dance to her tune.

Back at the scene, the constables cover Amol’s body with a white cloth. Inspector Singh orders them to take Harish into custody. Jaggu defends her father, saying, “Baba didn’t do anything.” Sapna and Gita both cry. Jaggu reassures Gita, “Baba didn’t shoot him.” Akash points out that someone was hiding behind the curtain and fired the shot. Gita suddenly recalls Amol asking her to write a suicide note earlier and realizes it’s missing. She says, “Someone must have taken it.” Sapna accuses Gita, asking if she is protecting the killer and won’t seek justice. Gita vows to bring justice. Sapna questions how everyone else arrived when Papa had only called Gita and insists on going to her father’s friend to seek justice.

Kalindi presents the evidence to Kalikant. He is pleased and starts to approach her for a hug, but then stops. Kalindi, unfazed, hugs him and says, “I don’t mind.” Just then, Sapna enters, hugging Suraj and accusing, “They’ve killed my father!” Ganga tries to calm her. Kalikant enters and listens as Sapna claims Harish is the killer, urging him to seek justice for her. Kalikant smiles at Kalindi, who reassures Sapna, saying, “You will get justice.” Kalindi adds, “Your mother is a judge, and she will bring justice.” Sapna retorts, “She is Chitta’s mother, not mine.” Gita enters the room.

In the police station, Harish insists he didn’t shoot Amol. Jaggu is sure someone else shot him, pointing out the evidence of someone hiding behind the curtain. Gita urges Sapna to come with her, but Sapna refuses. Kalikant tells Ganga to escort Gita inside. Gita reassures her, saying, “I understand everything.” Kalikant warns Gita to allow Sapna to stay with him, using veiled threats. Gita tells Sapna that Kalikant might kill anyone but cannot save anyone. She promises that if Harish is guilty, he will be punished.

Bindi grows anxious about Harish and Jaggu. Sapna declares, “It’s good I woke up or I would never have known.” Kalikant reassures her, “I’m with you.” Sapna insists, “Chitta has killed him.” Ganga tries to intervene, but Kalikant signals her to step back. Kachori notices Ballu digging and planting a tree and confronts him. He reprimands her for exposing his actions. Kachori responds, “I spoke the truth because Jaggu says we should.” He orders her to go to Jaggu. Gita promises that whoever is guilty will be punished. Sapna refuses to return to Gita until Harish is punished. Gita pleads, asking, “What are you saying?” Sapna turns to Kalikant, asking if she can stay with him. Kalikant agrees, telling her, “You don’t need anyone’s permission.” He instructs Suraj to take Sapna to her room. Gita begs, “How will I live without you?” but Sapna goes with Suraj. Kalikant instructs Ganga to look after Gita while she’s there. Jaggu tells Harish that the proof bag is missing. Inspector Singh arrives and asks Jaggu how she got there, ordering a lady constable to throw her out. Jaggu reassures Harish, “I will prove your innocence.” Gita reflects on whether Harish is guilty, knowing that if he is, he will be punished.
