Maati Se Bandhi Dor 8th January 2025 Written Update
The episode begins with Vaiju saying that they went to meet Jaya, and she isn’t unwell. Sulekha taunts Jaya, implying she is trying to gain Rana’s attention. Vaiju clarifies that Jaya fainted due to tension but is now at home with Kunal and Kaveri. Sulekha questions why they went at that moment. Ranvijay replies that Jaya is Vaiju’s sister and his friend. Sulekha says she shouldn’t comment. She defends Jaikant. Ranvijay counters, saying Jaya didn’t try to take someone’s life, unlike Jaikant. Sulekha leaves angrily. Vaiju apologizes, explaining that Ranvijay is just worried. Rao Sahab says they wanted to celebrate the success of the mill. Vaiju says Ranvijay may not agree. She goes to speak with him. Ranvijay is deep in thought about Jaya. She talks to him about the mill celebration. He replies that Jaya isn’t well, so how can they celebrate, especially since the sugar mill is named after Jaya. She urges him to think of the people who worked hard for it as well. He agrees and says they will celebrate. He hugs her, still feeling guilty about Jaya.
At the mill, Ranvijay oversees the preparations. Vaiju smiles as she watches him, and he teases her. The song Baawra Mann plays. Vasundara and the others arrive. Vaiju quickly moves away, making excuses. Naagraj compliments her decorations. Vaiju thanks him and says they will handle the puja preparations. Sulekha points out that the mill name hasn’t changed yet. She asks Ranvijay to change it to Vaiju’s name. Ranvijay responds firmly, saying no, Jaya is special to him, and the mill will always be associated with her. Vaiju looks at him with mixed emotions. Vasundara questions how he can say this. He reiterates that Jaya is Vaiju’s sister and his friend, and he respects her. He asks Vaiju if they should change the mill name or if she would prefer seeing her name on the board. Vaiju answers that she never sought Jaya’s place. She agrees with his decision and reassures him that she trusts him. She leaves, holding back tears. The doctor examines Jaya and tells her that everything is fine, as long as she takes her medication and avoids stress. Jaya thanks him.
Ranvijay and Vaiju participate in the aarti, and everyone prays together. Rao Sahab presents gifts to the staff, and Ranvijay says, “You are all part of our family.” He then takes a selfie with them. Kunal and Jaya are on their way. Kunal cheers her up, and Jaya asks him if the mill name has been changed. She insists on going to the mill. Kunal agrees, calling her stubborn. Vaiju plays the dhol, and everyone dances.
Joshi calls Ranvijay, who joins the celebration, playing the dhol and dancing along with them. Kunal and Jaya arrive at the scene, and Jaya watches the celebration, feeling sad. She remarks that she didn’t know about this event. Kunal reassures her that the mill board still carries her name. Jaya wonders how Ranvijay could have changed so much. Ranvijay notices Jaya and watches her leave.
Back home, everyone talks about how much fun they had. Ragini asks where Ranvijay is. Ranvijay, looking distant, replies that everything is fine. He feels guilty, thinking about how he posted the picture without considering how Jaya might feel. Vaiju urges him to do the dance step again, but he asks her to stop. She wonders what she said that upset him. He says, “We are married, and you still don’t know what I like and what I don’t.” He walks away.
