Kumkum Bhagya 8th January 2025 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with Vaishali asking why she didn’t bring the breakfast and says she will get paratha. Dadu replies that he’s not hungry and asks her to make paratha for him later. Vaishali says she’ll bring it for Beeji. Dadi declines the paratha and mentions that she’s having tea made by Poorvi. She says she’s planning to go for a walk. Dadu laughs and says it’s nice to think. He says he will come with her. Dadi refuses and tells him he only wants to come to stare at other women. Dadu protests, saying she’s insulting him in front of his children. Dadi asserts that the children know him well. Dadu claims he’s a sophisticated person and asks everyone to raise their hands if they agree. Everyone raises their hands but quickly lowers them, except for Harleen, who raises hers and jokes that they’re all joking. Dadu refuses to join her. RV walks in. Harman tells him that Beeji doesn’t want to take Dadu with her because he stares at other women. RV tells Dadi that Dadu only looks at her, and asks her to take him along. Dadi agrees. Vikrant comments that Dadi didn’t agree when they asked her. Jaswant adds that it’s not fair. Vaishali jokes that Beeji agreed because of her favorite grandson. Dadi responds that everyone is her favorite except Dadu. Poorvi walks in and mentions she’s going to the temple to fulfill her vow for RV. Harleen says it’s a good idea and offers to join her.

Monisha texts Dushyant, telling him that Poorvi is going to the temple with Harleen.

Dushyant reads the message and calls a goon, instructing him to do something. The goon, named Painter, assures he can handle it. Dushyant tells him to meet him at the temple and plans something sinister for Monisha.

Poorvi asks the Pandit if all the preparations are complete. He confirms that all the ingredients for the havan are ready. Harleen asks about the havan. The Pandit explains it’s a ritual, and Poorvi shares that she planned the havan to prevent any more problems, believing that by doing it, the troubles will go away. Harleen praises Poorvi for thinking this way. Poorvi adds that her identity is tied to her family, and if anything happens to any of them, it troubles her. Harleen says that Poorvi should remain the same. Harleen’s phone rings, and Poorvi suggests she take the call. Harleen picks up Monisha’s call, and Monisha asks where she is. Harleen tells her she’s at the temple, having just stepped out. Monisha asks her to finish her prayers, and they hang up.

Monisha calls Dushyant and asks where he is. Dushyant tells her to look for his car parked nearby. She steps out and walks toward his car while covering her face with a scarf. Dushyant then asks her to send a photo of Harleen. Monisha is surprised but complies, asking why. Dushyant insists, saying he’s her father. She reluctantly sends the photo. He forwards it to Painter and instructs him to take action. Monisha, concerned, warns him not to harm Harleen.

Poorvi and Harleen complete the havan. Poorvi notices the fire increasing and grows anxious. She prays to the goddess to keep RV safe. Meanwhile, Yug asks RV to let him drive. RV responds that he’s driving slowly as his mother requested, but Yug insists he’s driving too slow. He asks RV to stop the car so he can get out. RV hesitates but agrees to let Yug drive. Just as they are about to continue, a speeding car passes by quickly, and RV feels uneasy. He asks Yug to drive. Yug questions why he seems so worried. RV shares that something doesn’t feel right.

Dushyant tells Monisha that Poorvi isn’t as dependent on her father as she is. He explains that Poorvi does wrong things, not allowing him to do what’s right. He believes RV has moved on from Poorvi, but if something happens to one of his family members, RV will blame Poorvi, distracting him further. Monisha listens but doesn’t speak.

Pandit ji tells Harleen and Poorvi that the havan is complete and prays for their happiness and safety. Harleen thanks him, and Poorvi says they should leave. Pandit ji gives Poorvi a Kalawa and tells her to tie it to the person she worries about most. Poorvi thinks it’s RV’s protective thread and thanks the Pandit.

Yug drops RV off for a meeting and asks if he should come inside. RV declines, assuring him he’ll manage. Yug urges him not to worry, and RV calls him back, asking him to return. Yug says everything is fine, but RV insists he needs to see his mother and tells Yug to come back. Yug agrees.

Harleen leaves the temple. Dushyant tells Monisha that the decision is in her hands. He then instructs the goons to take action. Painter drives the car toward Harleen and hits her. Poorvi, who is walking behind, shouts “Maa!” and runs to her. She kneels beside Harleen, holding her head in her lap. Monisha tells Dushyant to drive closer to them. She gets out of the car and asks what happened. Poorvi, distressed, says a car hit Harleen and urges Monisha to call an ambulance. Monisha responds that there’s no time and insists they take her in the car. RV calls Yug, saying something is wrong. Poorvi cries, pleading with Harleen to open her eyes, assuring her that they’ll reach the hospital and everything will be fine.
