Mangal Lakshmi 4th January 2025 Written Episode Update
Adit confronts Sharma, questioning why he is sending Mangal on the trip. Sharma responds by asking what Adit means. Adit argues that Mangal has never traveled outside Delhi and wouldn’t be able to handle a trip to a foreign country. Sharma counters, saying that if anyone else had said this, he would think they were envious of Mangal. He asks Adit what his problem is with Mangal and encourages him to think of it as a second honeymoon and enjoy the trip.
Sowmya interrupts, questioning Sharma’s decision to send Mangal, insisting that she, who has always worked with Adit, deserves to go instead. Sharma reminds Sowmya of her mistake of burning company invoices that almost caused a huge loss. He adds that Mangal saved her job by stepping in. Adit informs Sharma that Mangal cannot travel because she doesn’t have a passport, but Sharma assures him that the passport process is already in motion and advises him not to worry. Sowmya complains to Adit about him traveling with Mangal to Sri Lanka. She asks him to take her instead and suggests booking her a ticket on the same flight. Adit declines, citing the cost. Upset, Sowmya exits the car and leaves in an auto.
Mangal reflects on her past interactions with Adit, particularly when he once rejected her. Adit approaches Mangal and asks her to decline the foreign trip, saying Sowmya deserves to go instead. Mangal firmly states that she was chosen by Sharma based on her performance and will not cancel the trip, leaving Adit to cancel if he wishes. She walks away.
The next day, the postman delivers Mangal’s passport. Excited, she takes it, but Kusum taunts Sowmya about Mangal traveling with Adit. Later, Adit gifts flight tickets to Sowmya, which excites her. Sowmya reveals her plans to Kusum, who unsuccessfully tries to dissuade Adit from taking Sowmya on the trip.
Sowmya notices Mangal placing her passport in her luggage. Once Mangal leaves, Sowmya hides the passport under a book. When Kusum enters the room, Sowmya pretends nothing happened but secretly plans to retrieve it later. Kusum, however, grows suspicious after seeing Mangal in the room earlier. Sowmya eventually cuts Mangal’s passport with scissors, determined to ensure she travels with Adit instead of Mangal.
In the court, Raghuveer confronts Jia, questioning why she called reporters after her performance and accusing her of orchestrating a conspiracy to frame Karthik for molestation. Jia remains silent as Raghuveer taunts her. When Jia angrily grabs Raghuveer’s collar, he uses this action to argue to the judge that Jia is lying. He requests the judge to obtain her phone records to uncover the truth and is granted additional time for Karthik’s case. Outside the court, reporters question Jia about her motives for involving the media, implying she framed Karthik. Jia avoids answering and leaves but slips and falls. Lakshmi catches her, only to taunt her afterward. Humiliated, Jia departs.
