Anupama 26th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Rahi playing the shank. Pandit ji mentions that people come to ask something from God, but today they have gathered to thank Him for all He has given. Rahi says that whatever Dwarkadeesh does is always right, whether we understand it or not, and we should be grateful to Him. She dances, imagining herself dancing with Prem. Anupama enters and notices her dancing. She rushes forward and catches the Aarti plate that was about to fall from Rahi’s hand. They both continue to dance. Rahi touches her feet, and Anupama joins her in dancing. At the end, they embrace each other, and Rahi sheds a tear as she hugs Anupama back.
Baa calls the children and says that they will first do the aarti and then the Christmas aarti. Ansh says they will not abandon their culture. Mahi says they will do Kanha ji’s aarti and celebrate Jesus’ birthday. Ishu says she will wear a saree. Baa says women look beautiful in sarees. Pari adds that she will wear a saree too. Kinjal says her daughter will look the best. They gather around the Christmas tree, hanging keychains. Ishu comments that Jesus will be surprised by their celebration of Christmas. Baa ties the final keychain and says their family will be free from any bad sight. She says that they believe the world is one big family. Pari remarks that it means all festivals belong to them.
Anupama says she understands that Rahi is worried and asks what is troubling her. Rahi admits that she is missing pops. She clarifies that she is happy with Anupama, but she misses him dearly. Anupama gently asks her what the matter is and encourages her to share. Rahi recalls Prem’s words and hugs Anupama again. Anupama assures her that sometimes it takes time to express oneself and suggests she take her time to say what’s on her mind. Rahi asks what she should do, and Anupama advises her to leave everything to God and surrender herself completely. She reminds Rahi that fighting with herself won’t help and suggests asking Kanha ji to take care of her, thanking Him in advance for solving all her problems, as He knows what is best for her. Rahi nods. Anupama tells her they should still celebrate the Christmas party. Rahi hesitates, saying she doesn’t feel like celebrating, but Anupama insists it is for the others as well.
Later, Rahi calls a customer and informs them she will check the boxes and send them out. Prem arrives, and their eyes meet. Prem hugs Rahi, but she tries to walk away. He grabs her pallu, but she quickly takes it from him. As she tries to leave, she catches him from falling. He pulls her closer. Prem thinks that if he has ever liked someone after his mother, it is her, and he hopes she chooses him. Rahi thinks that after trusting Prem, she hopes to make him her choice too. He mistakenly walks over to Mahi and says, “I don’t want you to go anywhere, you look so beautiful.” Mahi turns and smiles, surprising him. Radha asks them to join.
Later, Anupama gets ready for the Christmas celebration. Everyone praises her. Ansh comments that everyone looks dull in comparison to her. Baa agrees, saying Anupama looks her best. Anupama explains a game to the family where they will put a garland around someone’s neck while blindfolded. Ansh cheats during the game, but Anupama catches him and says she will place the garland on his neck. Kinjal places a garland on Toshu’s neck, declaring herself the winner. Toshu asks what she wants as a prize, and she replies, “Respect.” Ansh urges everyone to continue playing. Mahi contemplates putting a garland around Prem’s neck, and Prem approaches Rahi, saying he wants to put the garland around her neck himself.
