Maati Se Bandhi Dor 21st December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with the judge granting the divorce between Ranvijay and Jaya. Jaya is in tears. Jaikant remarks that Vasundara will soon be separated from the family. He poisons the ink in the pen, saying that once the ink touches her fingers, she will die forever. Vaiju is seen running down the road, thinking about calling Ranvijay. However, she decides against it, saying she can’t trouble him further on the day of his divorce. Jaikant watches Vasundara as she speaks about the house falling apart. She says that Rana hasn’t valued their emotions or decisions. Jaikant smiles at this. Rao Sahab tries to console her, but Vasundara adds that the pain is too much for her to bear. Jaikant says he will soon free her from the pain. Naagraj reminds her to take an oath for the people who look up to her as their mother. Ranvijay arrives and says the divorce formalities have been completed. Vasundara breaks down, ashamed of the situation, and says she should have died before seeing this day. Sulekha scolds Rana.
Ragini says that Jaya loves Kunal and that they shouldn’t only blame Rana and Vaiju. Jaikant brings the pen and file, placing the pen on the table. He asks Vasundara to sign the papers. He hands her the pen. Rao Sahab gets a call and says they will leave in five minutes and will reach on time. He tells Vasundara to come, but she insists on reading the papers first and signing them later. Rao Sahab puts the pen and file back, but she insists they leave now to take the oath, and that she doesn’t want Rana to accompany them. Ranvijay looks dejected. Jaikant smiles while Ranvijay heads to his room.
Jaikant goes to retrieve the pen, but Naagraj calls him. Jaikant tells him he will be there in a moment. He picks up the pen. Sulekha calls him to hurry, and he places the pen back on the table before leaving with them. Ranvijay, feeling the tension, receives a parcel. The delivery man says he forgot the pen. Ranvijay picks it up from the table and signs the papers. The ink touches his fingers, making him feel dizzy. He heads to his room and collapses. Vaiju arrives home, calling out for Vasundara, but notices Ranvijay pushing the chest. She realizes she might be too late as everyone has already left. A lamp falls, making a sound, and she heads upstairs to check.
Ranvijay calls out to Vaiju. She is shocked to find him in a fainting state. She shouts his name as he collapses. Rushing to him, she lifts him in her arms and says he will be fine. She ties him to her back and rides the bike, assuring him that nothing will happen. Rao Sahab asks Vasundara why she is insistent on returning home. She responds, saying she has a bad feeling that something awful is about to happen. Jaikant smiles quietly to himself. Sulekha sees Vaiju carrying Ranvijay and tells Jaikant to stop the car. Vasundara urges Vaiju to stop, and Sulekha asks if she’s kidnapping him. Ragini questions her, suggesting that Vaiju wouldn’t kidnap him. Sulekha points out that Rana appeared unconscious, as she saw him. Jaikant wonders if the poison has taken effect on Ranvijay, but feels pleased that Vaiju will be blamed. Vasundara senses that something is wrong. Rao Sahab tells Jaikant to hurry. They follow Vaiju.
Vaiju reaches the hospital with Ranvijay and urgently asks the staff for help, urging them to call the doctor. She tells Ranvijay that he will be fine because she is with him. The doctor checks his pulse and announces that it’s absent. Vaiju is frantic with worry, praying for him.
