Anupama 21st December 2024 Written Update

The episode starts with Rahi singing “Pehla Nasha” and saying she is in love. Anupama walks in and asks if she hasn’t slept yet. Rahi says no. Anupama mentions that she has a lot of back pain and asks if Rahi can roll the belan on her back. Rahi tells her to sit down and starts massaging her back with the roller. She says, “You worked a lot in the kitchen today.” Anupama agrees and adds that Prem has returned. She asks if Rahi has heard about it. Anupama says, “Prem is a good guy, but whenever I look at him, it feels like there’s some pain he’s hiding. I see it in his eyes, even though he tries to conceal it.” She then asks Rahi what she thinks of Prem. Rahi accidentally drops the roller on the floor. Anupama asks her to be careful and then insists she share her opinion. Rahi says, at first, she didn’t like him, but now that she’s getting to know him, he seems really good. She thinks of confessing her feelings. Anupama says, “I need to tell you something. If Prem becomes part of this family and marries, he will be the son-in-law of this house.” She continues, “But before that, I need to talk to him about his feelings. Mahi is crazy about him. She’s stubborn about marrying him. I need to talk to him about Mahi. Prem is a good person, but I can’t just give her hand in marriage like that.” She says, “I’m scared for Mahi. She never got her father’s love and then her mother left her. She was raised by me, holding onto my pallu. I’ve never scolded her about her studies.” Anupama wonders aloud if she should talk to Prem about Mahi, because if Mahi gets hurt, it would break her completely.

Rahi’s eyes fill with tears as she listens, shocked by Anupama’s words. Anupama apologizes, saying, “I’m troubling you. I can’t talk to Pakhi, so I’m sharing my heart with you.” She says, “You and Prem are friends, you fight sometimes. You know him well. Is he someone who can fill the loneliness in Mahi’s life? I want to know more about him.” Rahi hugs her, tears falling on Anupama’s hand. Anupama asks why Rahi is crying and what’s going on. She urges her to tell the truth.

Prem slips on a carton while sleeping. He checks his phone and sees a voice message from Rahi. He thinks to himself that he doesn’t want to listen to it. Just as he’s about to play it, his phone dies. He tries to charge it, but the power goes out. Anupama asks Rahi, “Did something upset you?” Rahi responds with happy tears and says, “Someone is getting love. It’s all about destiny and karma.” She adds, “If someone kept two lovers apart, didn’t value their love, then they don’t deserve love.” Anupama asks, “What are you saying?” Rahi says, “This is what’s happening now. I’ve made you cry for years, but Kanha ji gave me a mother. But it’s not my karma to get Prem. Prem is the avatar of Kanha ji, and whoever gets him will be Radha. I’ll be Meera and watch Mahi become Prem’s.”

Anupama thanks her and hugs her, saying, “I’m scared for Mahi. When you weren’t here, she was with me, hugging me. She got a mother but not a full mother because I was lost in my thoughts about you.” She continues, “She never got anything fully.” Rahi says, “Mahi will get her love.” She reminds Anupama, “When I asked you whom you would choose, you said you would choose Mahi. You were right.” Anupama says, “I was scared for her, which is why I said Mahi’s name, but I’ll choose both.” Rahi replies, “I’m choosing your good daughter,” and urges her to talk to Prem. Prem gets an electric shock while fixing the fuse. He asks Kanha ji not to give him any more shocks than this.

Rahi says, “I’ll talk to Prem.” Anupama asks, “What if he refuses?” Rahi replies, “He won’t refuse me.” Anupama tells her not to cry. Rahi says, “We might get dehydrated. I’ll bring water for you.” Anupama calls her back and asks, “What did you want to tell me? I forgot to ask while talking about Prem.” Rahi says she wanted to talk about Radha’s school and leaves. She sees Mahi eating chocolate and looking upset. Rahi goes outside the house and cries, eating the chocolate.

She says, “I love you, Prem. I love you so much, but I can’t tell you. I can’t tell Mummy, Mahi, or even you. I won’t tell you.” Prem walks by but doesn’t notice her. She continues, “I couldn’t tell you that I love you.” She remembers sending him a voice note and deletes it. Prem checks his phone and sees the message is deleted. He wonders what it was about. He falls asleep while sitting there. Rahi cries as she looks at him, thinking about how to erase this feeling from her heart. Prem, still asleep, murmurs, “I love you, Rahi. I know you love me too. Why don’t you say it?” Rahi says, “Our first love will be our first heartbreak. When Krishna and Radha couldn’t be together, who are we to get our first love?” She apologizes to him for everything she is about to say and do.

The next day, Prem changes his clothes and tells his heart not to feel pain, wondering what Rahi might have said in her voice note.
