Jhanak 20th December 2024 Written Episode
The episode starts with Choton supporting Anirudh and Jhanak’s marriage. He defends Jhanak. Tanuja says they will never accept Jhanak as their daughter-in-law. Dadi says she should have died before witnessing all this. Anirudh tells them they will all attend the wedding, and they have a plan B in place. He declares he won’t tolerate Jhanak’s insult and says this to everyone. He takes Jhanak with him. Shrishti asks the doctor to check on Arshi. Arshi mentions she did a pregnancy test at home, and it was positive. Shrishti insists on a check-up. The doctor agrees and checks Arshi. Arshi says that since the doctor is their family doctor, she should be aware of everything, adding that Anirudh and she no longer have any relationship. The doctor asks what she means. Mrinalini asks if Anirudh forced her to agree. Jhanak says no, she agreed willingly. Choton questions her behavior. Mrinalini says she came to take Jhanak with her to her house. Choton says that Anirudh and Arshi didn’t separate because of Jhanak. Jhanak says that Anirudh would not have been saved if she hadn’t agreed to marry him. Mrinalini asks her not to explain herself.
Arshi talks about how sometimes relationships break in a moment. The doctor inquires about what she means. Shrishti explains everything. Arshi says Anirudh is with someone else now. The doctor advises her to stay happy with her husband, focus on her health, and eat well. Arshi goes for her tests. Appu goes out of the house to meet Jhanak. Jhimli stops her from running away, and they argue.
Appu calls out to Anuradha. Jhimli tells Anuradha that Appu had tried to run away before. She asks Anuradha to manage Appu or send her back home. Appu insists that Jhanak will meet her and that she’ll wait there. Anuradha asks her to come with her. Appu asks if Lalon got a job. Anuradha says yes, but she should ask him when he comes. Appu feels glad. Choton tells Jhanak that she gave Lalon a new life; Arshi left him, and he was saved because of her. He recalls everything. Jhanak says she saved Anirudh because she loves him and feels bad for Arshi. He says Anirudh should have told Arshi that he loves Jhanak. Mrinalini says Jhanak and Anirudh must unite. The doctor advises Shrishti to support Arshi. Shrishti pretends to be innocent, claiming she only wants Arshi to be happy. Choton urges Jhanak to decide. Mrinalini also talks to Jhanak, convincing her. Jhanak says she feels like a relationship is breaking because of her, and she cries. Choton encourages her to talk to Anirudh. Jhanak says she just wants him to stay alive. Arshi returns after her tests. The doctor asks if it’s good news. Arshi says yes, and the doctor reassures her that her symptoms suggest a healthy pregnancy. Choton asks her who she would fight for if she thinks Anirudh will bear this sorrow and die. Choton insists that Anirudh has made the right decision, and he wants to see them both happy and together. Jhanak says everything will be fine, and then she’ll leave. Mrinalini asks what she means. Jhanak says nothing and walks away.
Lalon comes home. Appu asks why he didn’t tell her that he got a job. She dances in joy. Lalon says he didn’t get a job yet, but he will someday. He adds that he found true happiness when he met her. Appu feels shy. They both laugh. Jhimli arrives and says she heard Lalon got the job. Lalon jokes, and then gives chocolates to Appu. He hugs Jhimli and says he’ll go get sweets. He invites both of them to come along and buy anything they want. Appu says she will come too. Lalon reassures her not to worry about money, just enjoy the sweets. Anuradha says Jhanak called earlier when Appu was sleeping. Appu asks to call her back. She speaks to Jhanak on the phone, and they both smile.
Jhanak recalls Anirudh. Mrinalini finds her lost in thought and asks her to stay happy. She reminds Jhanak that she agreed to the marriage for Anirudh’s sake. Jhanak confirms it was only for him. Mrinalini tells her not to regret it later and asks if Anirudh forced her to agree. Jhanak says no, and Mrinalini asks what he said. Jhanak replies that she can’t tell her, as Anirudh asked her not to tell anyone. She expresses her desire to share everything with Mrinalini, but she also made a promise. Mrinalini says it’s okay if he doesn’t want it to be shared. Jhanak insists that she must tell her because she feels suffocated. Mrinalini encourages her to open up. Jhanak breaks down and reveals that she’s scared because Anirudh is battling a life-threatening illness.
