Udne Ki Aasha 16th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Tejas and Roshni heading to their room. Renu asks Akash and Riya to leave. Aaji says you’ve already assigned them the rooms. Renu replies, yes, the bahus are new and don’t know much. Sayali says she will make tea. Aaji asks Paresh to come for a talk. Sachin mentions to Sayali that something seems off with Roshni. Sayali agrees, noticing her tense demeanor. Sachin adds that he feels the same. Sayali advises him not to say anything that would make Roshni leave the house. Riya comments that she smells something odd. Akash explains the place was cleaned with cow dung, so that’s the smell. Riya reacts in surprise, asking if the place gets spoiled by cow dung. She then requests Aaji for a room with an attached washroom. Akash tells her that there’s only one washroom for everyone and that she should manage. Riya says she doesn’t think she can stay here due to her dust allergy, and suggests going to a hotel. Akash tells her the hotel is too far, so they’ll have to manage. She continues to insist that she can’t stay. Aaji overhears this and asks what’s wrong. Akash reassures her that everything will be fine. Riya asks if they can find a solution, but Aaji explains the benefits of village life. Akash convinces her to stay, and Aaji offers breakfast, asking everyone to join.
Renu asks Sayali to bring the tea. Renu then asks Roshni what her uncle would like to eat. Roshni looks worried. Sayali asks why she’s worried since she should know what he likes. Renu tells Sayali to stop asking questions. Roshni says they’ll ask him once he arrives. Renu insists everything must be ready. Roshni finally says that her uncle likes non-vegetarian food. Renu agrees to make those dishes or perhaps some Dubai specialties, like hummus and tandoori. Aaji questions who will be making all of this. Renu says Sayali is an expert, and she’ll handle it. Aaji is skeptical. Roshni suggests they wait for her uncle before making any decisions, urging Renu not to stress. Renu reassures her that they’ll take care of it. Riya complains again about the lack of mobile signal. Renu tells her to go outside and check. She asks Roshni to come with her while Sayali carries the tea cups.
Aaji mutters to herself that Renu now has two bahus to manage. She’ll watch them closely. Meanwhile, Sachin is watching videos. Sayali calls him and asks what he’s watching. He replies it’s just an agriculture video, not worth mentioning. Sayali tells him to come to lunch on time. He agrees, then mentions his curiosity about Roshni’s uncle coming from Dubai. He thinks if it’s true, Renu will have a hard time. Anya laughs at his remark.
Aaji calls out to Renu. Renu remarks on the fresh veggies and plans to prepare dishes before Roshni’s uncle arrives. She calls Sayali to help. Renu taunts her for taking her time. Aaji advises everyone to stay united and not say anything that could hurt anyone. Renu denies doing so, instructing Sayali to make the dishes from her long list. Aaji insists that Renu herself should do the cooking. Renu objects, asking how she can manage alone. Aaji orders her to call her bahus for help. Renu protests, saying they come from wealthy families, unlike Sayali. Aaji insists that it doesn’t matter and demands they all work together. Renu reluctantly agrees.
She calls Riya and Roshni for help, and Aaji tells them that Renu will make the food, and they must assist. Akash and Tejas watch. Roshni offers to let Sayali help, but Aaji insists that she can do the work herself. Riya, feeling out of place, admits she doesn’t know how to cook, only how to boil water. Akash jokingly comments that Riya is more of a foodie than a cook. Aaji points out that Riya should learn to cook if she likes eating. Renu complains that Riya is too busy with her dubbing work to cook. Tejas chimes in, saying Roshni works at the parlor all day, so anyone should be able to help out. Aaji agrees. She then calls for Malti to bring some coconut and chilies for Roshni to grind. She asks Riya to cut vegetables. Renu, frustrated, asks if Sayali is supposed to rest while everyone else works. Aaji replies that Sayali is not lazy and will work just as everyone else should. Akash offers to cook, but Aaji slaps him and pulls his ears, saying he should go out and experience the village instead. Akash and Tejas hurriedly leave. Renu quietly plans to teach Sayali a lesson.
