Maati Se Bandhi Dor 3rd September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Jaya bringing poha to Ranvijay along with a note. She asks him to check the note, and he smiles as he reads it. Sulekha calls Jaya to join her, and Ranvijay continues to smile at the note. The women gather to taste the food. Vasundara makes a joke as she starts tasting the dishes. She comments that Naagraj’s dish is well-prepared but a bit too sour. Everyone applauds. Next, she tries Jaikant’s dish but immediately coughs, remarking that it has too much chili. Sulekha insists it should be good, but Vasundara moves on to Rao Sahab’s dish, declaring that it’s always good, which earns him more applause. Finally, she tastes Ranvijay’s special dish. Jaya watches as Vasundara picks up the roti. Vasundara enjoys the roti a lot.
Naagraj then asks which dish is the tastiest. Vasundara, after a bit of teasing, says all the dishes were tasty, but since she has to choose one, she selects Ranvijay’s Moti roti as the winner. Ranvijay is thrilled and hugs Rao Sahab in celebration. Jaikant jokingly asks if they are going to eat this food or go out to eat. Vasundara then clarifies that she never said Ranvijay has won, causing some confusion. Ranvijay, confident, says he made the dish and hence won. However, Vasundara laughs and reveals that the true winner is Vaiju, as the idea and recipe came from her. Ranvijay protests, acknowledging that it was her recipe but arguing that he worked hard to make it. He turns to Jaya, seeking her support. Jaya agrees that he did work hard and that there’s nothing wrong with accepting help. However, Naagraj counters, stating that they made their dishes without any help, and Rao Sahab agrees, insisting they deserve fairness. Jaya, feeling down, goes to her room and begins to cry.
Ranvijay follows her and asks what’s wrong, concerned about why she’s upset. Jaya explains that she had made a special dish for him with all her love, but he didn’t seem to appreciate it. Confused, Ranvijay asks what dish she’s referring to. She reminds him that she showed him the bowl earlier. Ranvijay then realizes and apologizes, explaining that he got her note and that her wishes are very important to him. Jaya, feeling hurt, questions whether he truly values their relationship, accusing him of being distracted. Ranvijay apologizes again, admitting that he didn’t realize she had made something special for him and that his mistake was unintentional. Despite his apologies, Jaya remains emotional and continues to argue, but he embraces her, trying to comfort her.
Meanwhile, Vasundara talks to Rao Sahab, asking him to consider what they should send to the orphanage children for the Ganpati festival. Rao Sahab responds, saying that the children eagerly wait for the gifts Vasundara sends them. Vasundara, touched by the children’s innocence, expresses that they remind her of Ranvijay and Ragini. She leaves, and Rao Sahab reflects on her words, wishing he could feel the same way. He admits that he helps the orphanage with the hope that his efforts reach his own child, whom he still struggles to consider as part of his family.
Later, Vasundara admires the items being prepared for the festival. Arhaan also brings some toys. Ranvijay mentions that Vasundara organizes a donation camp every year. She asks him to ensure everything is in order. As Ranvijay and Vaiju load the boxes into the truck, he notices some sugar crates about to fall on Vaiju. He quickly rushes to save her, pulling her out of harm’s way. She gazes at him with gratitude as he excuses himself. After he leaves, Vaiju picks up his ringing phone. The caller asks if she is Ranvijay’s wife. She replies that Ranvijay has gone for some important work. The caller, Makhija, explains that he needs to discuss an urgent order with Ranvijay and requests her to ask him to call back. Vaiju acknowledges the message and mentions that she needs to go to the orphanage.
Ranvijay arrives at the orphanage and meets Tai, handing over the toys to the children. Vaiju soon arrives and smiles as she watches Ranvijay interact with the kids. She reminisces about their moments together as the song “Tu Hi Re” plays in the background.
