Kumkum Bhagya 9th December 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with RV stating that they need to find a permanent solution for her. Diya says Di is trying her best. Harleen responds, saying they don’t know what she’s doing. Harman tells her to be patient and says that once Poorvi arrives, she will explain everything. Deepika enters and says that they should be ready as the marriage mahurat is at 6:30 pm. Harleen says she won’t go downstairs. Harman asks about Dadi and Dadu, to which Deepika replies that they don’t want to see Nethra’s face, so they haven’t come yet but will come when they wish. Harleen insists she won’t go downstairs.

Harman says they must go, as there is media present and a representative from the court to ensure justice is being served to Nethra. Harleen worries that they are being watched. RV explains it’s part of the court procedure. Deepika adds that a clever fox has trapped them. Harman asks RV to come downstairs, ready with his safa. Diya offers to help him. Harman and Harleen leave, and RV comments that Poorvi hasn’t arrived yet. Diya asks him to sit, and she’ll tie the safa for him. Poorvi arrives and says things didn’t go as she had hoped. RV says he now has to marry Nethra, and he doesn’t know what to do. Poorvi hugs him and cries, saying she thought her plan would work and Nethra would back out. She asks what to do now. RV reassures her not to cry. Pandit Ji calls for the groom for the var puja. Harman tells Harleen they need to call RV. Harleen refuses, but Harman insists they need to show that everything is normal for the media and court person. He says they need a valid reason to stop the marriage and that everyone is avoiding it under false pretenses. Harleen suggests making an excuse about a headache, but Harman urges her to understand the gravity of the situation. He reminds her that Poorvi has always protected RV and believes she will do so now. Harleen agrees but insists RV should not marry Nethra. Harman agrees and asks her to call RV. Harleen asks Deepika to bring him, but Monisha offers to do it.

Monisha enters RV’s room, seeing him and Poorvi hugging. She questions what’s going on. RV explains that Diya was supposed to tie the safa but got a call. Monisha says she will do it herself and tries to tie the safa but struggles. RV says Poorvi can help, so Monisha leaves. Poorvi ties the safa on RV’s head and places the pearls around his neck. RV asks why she’s crying. Poorvi says she isn’t, but RV insists she should be happy and that she’s likely relieved to be rid of him. Poorvi continues crying. RV asks what happened, but Poorvi says she can’t bear to see him marry Nethra. They embrace, crying together. Diya enters and sees them in tears. Yug arrives too, noticing the scene. Deepika calls out to RV, urging him to come downstairs. She asks Poorvi to dress properly as media is waiting. RV leaves with Deepika, and Poorvi is left crying.

Yug asks Diya if she has a plan. Diya says she has an idea. Yug urges her to share it. Pandit Ji calls RV to sit on the mandap for the var puja. Monisha tells Harleen that everything is happening because of Poorvi, who told the media she would get RV married to Nethra. She blames Poorvi for the events unfolding. Poorvi enters downstairs, and RV stands up as he notices her. Pandit Ji asks where RV is going, and RV walks towards Poorvi, offering his hand. As Poorvi reaches for it, Nethra steps in and grabs his hand. Her bar dancer friends cheer. RV goes to the mandap with Nethra, but looks back at Poorvi. Pandit Ji asks for the varmala, and Deepika urges Poorvi to take it. The ceremony begins, and Pandit Ji asks Nethra to put the garland on RV’s neck. Nethra, eager for revenge on RV for Sahil’s death, places the garland on him. Pandit Ji asks RV to do the same for Nethra. Nethra challenges RV to make her wear the garland, as everyone is watching. RV tries to put the garland on her, but he stumbles and accidentally places it around Poorvi’s neck. Everyone is shocked. Poorvi gets emotional, and Nethra takes the garland from Poorvi, demanding that RV place it on her properly this time. RV finally does so, and Nethra’s friends cheer.

Harleen, standing beside Poorvi, scolds her for her actions. She says it’s because of Poorvi that this marriage is happening, as Poorvi told the media she would make sure RV marries Nethra. She says all Poorvi’s plans have failed, and RV is now being sacrificed. Harleen criticizes Poorvi for turning RV’s marriage into a curse, and says that no one can stop this wedding now. Just then, a girl enters and declares that the marriage cannot proceed. Poorvi begins to speak, but Harleen refuses to listen and questions the girl’s intentions. The girl approaches Harleen and Harman, touching their feet. They ask who she is and demand that she end her drama. Yug and Diya bring the rest of the family down. Dadu says they didn’t want to come, but Yug and Diya insisted. Dadi comments that they are here now because of them. Jaswant asks why the marriage is being stopped. Harman wonders if they were in a hurry to get it done. Jaswant says no, but he’s concerned because of the recent events. Vaishali comments that it seems there’s new trouble. Everyone asks who the girl is, and the girl announces, “I am your would-be bahu.” Everyone is left in shock.
