Jagriti

Jagriti 9th December 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with Ballu asking Durjan to request him to return home. Akash responds, saying that if they don’t want him to stay, he’ll go to the jungle. Nanda tells Durjan to throw him out, as they don’t want any trouble. Jaggu arrives and tells Akash to stop. She tells Nanda that Akash came here as himself, not as Nanhe Sarkar. She reminds Durjan that he once said their ancestors roamed the land and took shelter wherever they could. She mentions that they used to call themselves Chitta and could never go back on their promises, so how could they go back on their promise to give Akash shelter? Durjan tells her to take Nanhe Sarkar to her home. Akash folds his hands, and Durjan does the same before going with Jaggu. Ballu asks how Durjan allowed him to stay here. Durjan explains that if Akash goes to the jungle and something happens to him, Sarkar will not forgive them.

Kachori asks Akash if he can sleep on the bed, to which Akash replies that he will manage. Jaggu then asks Akash why he came here. Akash recalls Kalikant punishing him and his mother and explains the situation. She asks him to think about his mother, wondering what Sarkar would do to her. Akash says he doesn’t want to think about it and that he has left home. He asks her what Gita said when she learned the truth. Jaggu replies that she hasn’t heard it yet. Akash insists that he is sure she must have heard it.

Gita is searching for her phone. Amol approaches and asks if she is looking for it. Gita says she was just worried unnecessarily. Akash asks if she heard the recording, but Gita ignored it.

Amol says he found the phone under the bed, and Gita mentions that it must have fallen when the bed was shifted. Amol says the recording might have been turned on by mistake. Gita insists it must have been due to her pocket. She says it’s good that the recording was deleted, or else it would have exposed the conversation. She then leaves to do some work. Amol grows suspicious.

Jaggu explains that if her mother has hidden something from her, it might be due to some helplessness, just as she has. She says she cannot tell her everything. Akash tells her he admires her for always thinking about her mother, but he questions why she didn’t think about his own mother. Jaggu urges him to think about her, as she loves him deeply. Akash says his mother asked him to leave. Jaggu advises him to reconsider.

Durjan tells Kalikant that Nanhe Sarkar came and ordered to stay there. He says he will try to convince him to return. Gayatri expresses concern that Akash might learn about Chitta’s behavior before they can bring him back. Durjan says they couldn’t teach Jaggu the customs of Chitta, and Akash won’t learn them either. Jaggu arrives with Akash, saying he has realized his mistake and understands he shouldn’t have come. Gayatri asks since when she has become his lawyer. Akash approaches Kalikant, touching his feet and promising not to repeat his mistake. Kalikant stays calm, though he is angry. Gayatri tells Akash not to enter the room until the Shuddhikaran ceremony. Durjan says Jaggu convinced Akash to return. Gayatri asks them to leave. Kalikant halts Durjan.

Ganga is crying while looking at Akash’s photo, feeling lonely. Akash enters and hugs her. Ganga asks why he returned, saying she was lonely but had hoped he was in a better place than this.

Kalikant tells Durjan that his granddaughter has done a great job and deserves a reward. He offers to pay her school fees if she works for him. Durjan praises Kalikant for his generosity. Jaggu refuses, saying she doesn’t want money earned from hunting. Kalikant offers farming money instead. Jaggu, Durjan, and others cheer happily at this.

Akash tells Ganga that Jaggu was right when she said leaving was his selfish decision, leaving her alone in the house. He admits that he should have faced the situation rather than running away. Ganga hugs him, comforted by his return.

Kalikant warns Amol to be more careful next time and expresses his displeasure with any carelessness. Gayatri asks why he’s so worried. Kalikant says he is worried because of two things: one, Jaggu, and the other, Gita learning the truth. Gayatri wonders if something has happened. Kalikant explains that Gita is strong enough to support Jaggu, and she even dared to bring Akash to the haveli. He says he is not happy about paying Jaggu’s fees. Gayatri is concerned about Gita uncovering the truth and digging into the past.

Kalikant discusses his worries about Gita, saying if she discovers that Jaggu is her daughter, she will not rest until she is educated. He warns that if the Chitta community progresses, it will challenge his authority and the haveli, and he won’t let that happen.

Durjan dances happily with Jaggu while others look on in confusion. Nanda asks what happened. Durjan proudly announces that Jaggu has worked wonders, and he has promised to pay for her school fees. Ballu arrives to meet Kalikant. Kalikant says he wants to fulfill his wish. Harish wonders why Sarkar has called Jaggu for work. Gayatri tells Ballu that when one person steps down from a position, someone else will take their place. Ballu looks on, deep in thought.
