Mera Balam Thanedaar 3rd December 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Vansh recalling putting a special oil in the havan kund, which will create a lot of smoke once the Pandit lights the fire. He remembers pretending to fall near the havan kund, while secretly applying the oil. Vansh wears a black hoodie and sneaks up to the Goddess idol, stealing the necklace. Bulbul notices the thief in the black hoodie and quickly looks for Veer to inform him. Veer reassures the public not to panic and instructs Dhruv to use fans to disperse the smoke. Bulbul tells Veer that the necklace has been stolen and mentions seeing the thief in a black hoodie. The group spots three men running and catches them. The man insists that he’s a beggar and someone wearing a hoodie and mask told them to wear it and run while paying them money. Vansh goes to Sulakshana and Vardhan, offering them water. Sulakshana drinks, and Bulbul asks where he was, since he wasn’t around just two minutes ago. Vansh responds that he was there. Vardhan confirms he was present. Bulbul wonders if Vansh could be the thief.
Vansh recalls throwing the jacket and mask into the trash bin. He tells Sulakshana that he’ll take Maasa and Baba sa home. Bulbul says that Thanedar sa instructed no one can leave until the check is complete. Bulbul mentions that Veer prioritizes his duty above everything, even family. Vansh thinks that he’s hidden the necklace in Sulakshana’s pouch, which seems like the safest place. Veer approaches them, saying that the thief hasn’t been caught yet. Vansh insists on taking Maasa and Baba sa home. Veer asks Dhruv to check everyone’s bags. Vansh thinks it’s best to get himself checked first to avoid suspicion. Bulbul believes Vansh is innocent and decides to tell Champak so that her brother-in-law doesn’t face any ill fate. Veer checks Vansh’s bag and tells him he can go. Vansh hugs Veer and says they will meet at home.
Back at home, Vishesh wonders who the thief could be. Bulbul assures him that the thief will be caught soon. Sulakshana praises Vansh’s caring nature, saying he’s like her own sons. She shows the pouch Vansh gave her. Vansh tells her to rest. Bulbul bumps into Sulakshana, causing the pouch to fall. Bulbul quickly picks it up, asking Sulakshana to go and rest. She checks the pouch and finds a hidden compartment. Vansh recalls placing the necklace inside the compartment of the pouch and hiding it in the car when Sulakshana and Vardhan got out. Bulbul wears earplugs and overhears Vansh speaking to Ratan, saying he plans to sell the necklace to a buyer today. She doesn’t hear any mention of the necklace’s exact location but decides to stop Vansh from leaving.
Dhruv informs Veer that a special chemical was used in the havan kund, which made the place extremely smoky. He confirms that it’s the same chemical used in the ATM robbery. Veer realizes this follows the same pattern as the previous robberies and decides they need to check with chemical shops for leads.
Vansh tries to leave the house but notices that a Jagrata is happening at home. Bulbul stops him and insists that Vani meet him. Vani hugs Vansh and gets emotional. Vansh wonders what this new trouble is. Vani asks if he’s leaving. Vansh responds that he has important work to attend to. Bulbul asks Sulakshana to persuade Vansh not to go. Sulakshana explains that the Jagrata is for him and insists that he stay. Vansh replies that no one mentioned this Jagrata to him. Sulakshana says they could have waited, but since the mahurat is good, they decided to go ahead with it. Bulbul thinks she must prevent Vansh from leaving so that the necklace doesn’t leave the country. Vansh signals to Drishti. Drishti approaches him and Vansh asks for her help to escape. Drishti replies that she is also stuck there. She tells him to wait. Vansh tries to get up, but Vardhan gives him a Jagrata band to tie on his head. Vansh thinks he should leave and gets up, but Bulbul grabs his hand, determined to stop him from leaving.
